Two of her brothers had stepped away from the moving progression for a toilet break, and Felicity watched them depart with curious eyes. She had been excited to help her mum with the herbs Serene was transporting, but a pup could only do one job for so long before boredom overtook her.
Even the excitement of being outside pack borders could sustain her for only so long. Moments trickly past, and Py and Aur hadn’t returned yet. Sneaking a look around, Fel sneaked off after them. It didn’t take that long to ‘wet the trees’ and she was going to find out what they were up to.
She sniffed around, trying to work out where they had gone, and followed their trail for a short while. Well, she attempted to anyway. She hadn’t learnt tracking yet, past her own games, but she had spent a decent amount of her pup-hood sneaking up on her siblings. She liked to sneak attack, ambush, and whatever else she could devise to make the most of their play.
She was walking for a time before she realised she hadn’t found any traces of their scent in a while. She turned around, because she knew she had come from between the - oh. She blinked a the near identical trees surrounding her. It had been.. That way? No, not, it was that one, she was certain.
Head held high, she continued on, huffing under her breath about silly boys running off to play without her. Time passed, and she began to realise that maybe this wasn’t the right path. She turned around again, blinking at the looming trees, the land that looked the same every way she glanced at it. Ok, so, maybe she had made a tiny little bit of a mistake. She shrugged, it was no biggy. She would figure it out, she always did.
