[Torin] Whatever it takes

She was busy again with her bolt holes. She was head down under a tree and digging like she could dig to the other side of the world if she tried hard enough. Food had now been the last thing on her mind for almost a week straight. She was well aware that Naeva had went to find one of the healersor probably Torin. She'd been avoiding them all though. There was nothing wrong with her in her own mind. She just didnt feel secure now that one of them had come here and found her. He could claim what he wanted as well but she knew better. She knew what that man had done to her. And even though she wasnt 100% certain he was an abraxas, the star woman had said she most likely had been "conquered" by one. She was completely busy and unaware of those that may be around her. Her holes were starting to dot the territories. She wanted them within 30 foot distances from each other. She didn't even care if it conflicted with others dens at this point. Frostbite now had children and she wanted to ensure even they could escape to one if need be. The design was the same for all of them. A hole dug into the side of a trees roots that lead to a small chamber then another entrance made about five to six feet away from the tree so there was an easy escape should one need it. With so many already dug the territory was starting to become a larger safe haven for her. Alois was off with a mission of his own as well. Not one jewell had given him but he felt the need to find Torin. He felt Jewell was slowly losing her mind, that she was close to a breaking point and needed to be brought back. No one even knew the deeper underlying problems either. Not that jewell would admit them freely. Walk, "Jewell "Alois" Think |

Torin knew he needed to talk to Jewell, with the meeting over and now two of her children missing and two of her children dangling dangerously close to being asked to leave; on top of that the many holes she had been digging in the territory, dotting it with hazards Torin was very worried would trip up one or more of the pups now romping around.
So he'd had ever intention of approaching his sister when Alois had sought him out. That was all the nudge he needed and Torin set to sniffing his sister out. It didn't take him too long, he followed her trail from hole to hole, finding her scent fresher as he went, until he finally found her head in the ground digging. "Jewell, nous devrions parler. " He spoke with a certain amount of authority, both wanting to make sure she heard him as well as making it clear he wasn't going to take no as an answer here.

Her head down in the hole and attention on the task at hand she didn't even notice as Torin approached her. She was absorbed in digging out the bolt hole. She'd seen the shock on that man's face as she said it was an Abraxas, he was one of them, he could even be a rapist too. Torin's voice, harsh and authoritive as he "snuck" up on her brought her from her activities and thoughts with a start. Her head whipped around with a snarl as her tail tucked and her body moved to protect her backside from whoever had come for her. Her approaching heat season had her even more on edge than it probably should. HEr ears pressed and her face relaxed as her eyes settled on torin after darting around to find who was there. after a moment she visably relaxed when she was sure he was alone. a breath released as she seated herself then lowered her head. "Désolé Torin, je ne savais pas que tu étais là." She could feel her heart jumping in her chest as if it could come out of there if it did so. She still didn't even want to admit to herself how bad it was getting in her own head now. She wasn't even sure Torin could help if she did tell him how much she feared him coming back or any new wolves being around. She was coming up on the two year mark of the last rape and wasn't sure she could even defend herself if she had to. Had he even seen the complete fear in her eyes when she had been snuck up on? Could he see her fear even now still? Only one way to find out. She sighed, she had known both alphas had seen it. her secret was out in the wind now. She forewent the French this time, it would be harder to explain in his native tongue but she at least wouldn't be misunderstood. "Is about border incident, yes?" She averted her eyes then. He had seen how bad her mistrust for strangers and her mind was getting. She hadn't even left Lirim's borders for two years now. She lowered herself to lay now with her head on her paws, ready to be chewed out now. She'd heard him at the meeting. He was using Zell's last name now. perhaps he wanted to be more like his bully of a father now. Walk, "Talk" Think |

Torin softened his expression as a wave of guilt washed over him, watching as his sister jumped. He lowered his head slightly, meeting his sister's gaze, his brows furrowed in apology. How he'd managed to forget his sister was jumpy was beyond him, maybe he simply had been spending more time with Derecho and forgotten his sister's case. "C'est d'accord." He spoke, his voice softer again, not wishing to spook her more than he already had.
She sighed and spoke, switching to English and Torin also sighed, nodding his head slightly. "That and..." He trailed off, indicating the many holes she'd dug into the ground around them. Then he fixed her with a concerned stare. "Jewell, I'm worried about you." His voice was earnest, uncharacteristically open. "I told you that I'd never let anyone hurt you right? Do you- do you believe that?" He couldn't help but feel partially to blame for whatever was plauging his sister; he had let the Abraxas man into the heart of their packlands; and he couldn't help but feel like it was directly his fault she was falling apart like this. But he meant it, if he'd sensed that Seth was a threat to her or anyone else he'd not have allowed him in; and he would stand by that decision.
