Be the song everybody wanna sing

Another day of monotony was upon him but Amos was determined to somehow break through the boredom and enjoy himself. He'd already eaten, gone on patrol, and chased off a mangy looking feline that was about half his height but ten times more easily perturbed. Sporting some pretty good scratches across the right side of his face and a few more down his right shoulder and front leg, he was debating who to seek out to get this tended to while also trying to figure out some kind of adventure to go on.
Settling in the center of the stone circle, Amos huffed and licked carefully at the still bleeding welts on his leg. Note to self: Maybe be a bit smarter about how to start a fight with a cat. Also, he should probably learn how to treat his own scratches so he didn't have to pester anyone or risk infection.

Trundling along with the sort of single-minded intensity that pups can have when playing, Viviane almost didn't see the male laying there at all. Her pretend den was on the other side of the stone circle, and she was carrying sticks and leaves and all sorts of things to make it better. When she did notice the male, just before she would have stepped on him, she leaped back with a faint "eep!" and dropped the plethora of plant stuff, which promptly scattered everywhere. But she had forgotten the plants and the play den immediately on seeing the older male, who had cuts all over him! "Oh sir," she gasped out, distress in her bright green eyes. "Are you all right? You're all over scratches!"

Amos had been just as absorbed in his own task as the young child who appeared suddenly. His head shot up when the girl let out a small cry, mismatched eyes landing on the small gold and ivory child who'd set loose a bundle of various bits of plant matter in a soft clatter as she gasped, and for a moment Amos thought it was at him until he remembered and the pointed out the various scratches that littered his face and leg.
Recovering swiftly he delivered a confident, reassuring smile and shrugged and tried his best to look like it was no big deal. "Ah, ahm fine, just got in a little scuffle but I'll be okay," he assured the girl, tail tapping the ground a few times while he tried to ignore the fact that he could definitely feel a small trickle of blood running down his cheek. If pressed he might conceed that he probably should have left the cranky feline alone, but right now he mostly just hoped the wounds didn't look worse than he assumed they were. Scarring a kid with his bloodied self wasn't on his agenda for the day after all.
"You wouldn't happen to have seen any of the healers today though would ya? Never hurts to err on the side of caution."
