Each step was met with a distinct tingling sensation. The sensation was hard to pin point. Physically it began within the center of his paws and moved it's way up his legs. Mentally it was a dash of nostalgia and a sprinkle of anxiety. Within his time away Miach was able to rid himself of the majority of his demons. The voices of depression and doubt. The undying urge to reconnect with a father who had little to no desire to do the same with him. Whatever Elias saw within his first born son was not love.. Miach merely had to accept such, he could not spend the rest of his days swelling on what may or may not have been. The male swallowed the thick of his worries and decided to come back to Boreas with a new outlook on the world. A neutral Wolf living as a completely blank slate. He wished to meet up with his siblings that weren't captivated by Elias and start his own life. The first course of action would be to call upon his closest sibling, Kane. His brother had the right idea the entire time.. To escape the nightmare that is his father's way of life and build his own name. Even if Miach was the first born son it seemed Kane was much wiser in this regard. Guilt bubbled within the anxious male's chest as he thought over the sheer ignorance of his past actions. He shoved his beloved sibling to the side, but now it was time to rectify all of it. The crimson beast raised his head and parted his hefty jaws. A simple howl left his throat, emitting rather loudly into the air in order to reach as much distance as possible. The call was only meant for Kane but he knew the sound of his voice may attract others as well. A tiny inkling of fear flickered into his riddled cranium as the possibilities of others responding to his summons swept in. Though, he soon shook of the fear in order to have a clear mind for what may be the reuniting of two long lost brothers. The Adravendi was located at the base of the waterfall peak. A mountain with a delightful waterfall spilling from it's summit. The water pooled at the bottom and ice formed at its shore. Perhaps in the evening hours the entire thing would freeze, but for now it flowed with ease. Snow fell upon the plain and peppered his deep red and black pelt in a gentle white. His eyelashes fluttered away snowflakes as his eyes narrowed. The sun was out and the snow reflected its shine with ease, making the land bright as ever. Miach lowered his rump to sit upon the snow, he had been walking for a while and there was no use waiting on all fours. Who knew if his brother would even show? His tail curled around cold feet and he silently observed the rushing water void of any obvious expression.

An apparent colossus was still no match for the cold. It had taken so long for the brute to get over the chill in his bones brought on by falling into the freezing water. He had spent the majority of his youth in the southern hemisphere of the globe, why did he ever think it was a good idea to travel north? He had half a mind to travel further south once again, back to the plains perhaps... or maybe even take refuge in the mountains now that they were no longer claimed by his father, but...
He still had matters to attend to in the North, to put it simply.
Still, he kept to the southernmost parts, where the snow was the thinnest and no lakes risked being blanketed beneath his feet without his knowledge. Perhaps it was fate that he'd fallen into the ice that day and made his way further south, because he may have very well missed such an important call from his estranged brother.
Black towers twitched on top of his skull as the familiar howl rang through the air. Immediately, his paws started motioning toward the sound with haste and it wasn't long before the sound of the fall echoed in the distance. He was surprised he could hear the call at all with his brother sitting so close to it, but the power of an Adravendi seemed to exist even in their lungs. He smirked, standing at the top of the waterfall's cliff and looked downward with his lone ruby stare. He couldn't keep his tail from swaying behind him as he lifted his head and released a loud call of his own.
Once he was finished, his lips peeled back into a smile as he looked down to his brother, letting him know he was there. He needed a moment to find his way down, but he didn't want Miach to walk away while he did so. He turned from the edge of the cliff and it took a twenty minutes before he reappeared, walking along the lake's edge. There was a lot of mixed emotions swirling within the brute's heart as he laid his eyes on Miach, but he could not deny the excitement within him for reuniting with, in his opinion, his only brother.
When you're taught to love everyone,
To love your enemies,
Then what value does that place on love?
Miach sat and waited for any sort of response. Doubt made its way into his mind but his mental defenses fought it off. Before his time away from Boreas the male was a ball of stress and depression. A lack of self esteem led him down a dark path of welcoming his father into his life. Unable to truly speak up for himself beneath that traitorous shadow. But he was turning a new leaf. It was time to find his own paw prints and build his own legacy. Miach was the first born son of a killer and he would not let those demons control his mind any longer. Thus, he sat at the lake with a blank expression. He held no promise to this day to avoid being let down or experiencing sorrow. Joy filled the Adravendi's heart as a call responded to his own. It was familiar and close. The call was from his brother, Kane. A happy tail thudded on the earth with snow flying every which way. His eyes went wide as they scanned the area. It seemed as though the howl came from the mountain but it was hard for the beast to really be sure. Thus, it was time to wait yet again. He could only assume the call was a notion from his brother that he was going to meet his summons.. Not before long two crimson gazes locked together. Miach observed as his litter mate moved through the snow to his exact location by the lake. A smile stained white and black lips as his tail flicked with pure excitement. It had been a while since he laid eyes upon Kane and could not contain his positive emotions. "Brother! I am so happy to see you." his words came forth with a visible frost. Snow fell from the heavens and littered the male's pelt. Though, the elements would not take away from this special moment. The words heard next called for Miach to raise a brow. What happened? A hard question to answer yet he would try nonetheless. "I took time for myself." A pause. "My mind was so tainted by our father's horrid riddles." He straightened up ever so slightly, "I've come back to start a new life, Kane. I am done looking up to a murderous beast. I want to live an honest life and would be very happy if you would be a part of it." Miach's words were sincere and true as he stared into that familiar crimson gaze.

The flame of his lone eye flickered brightly even in the cold of winter, drifting from each of Miach's own as he searched for truth in the words he was hearing leave his brother. Disbelief could not be helped initially, as he remembered how much wonder sparked his brother's soul when they'd first discovered the existence of their father. It seemed that Miach had come to his senses all on his own during their time apart, and quite quickly Kane's heart watered the trust formed during their youth and allowed it to grow with every passing syllable Miach offered him.
He was pleasantly surprised, to say the least.
Kane had to take a moment to seat himself in the snow and recollect his thoughts, the muscles of his bulk relaxing only after his hindside lay resting in the snow. His crown lifted just slight, welcoming the frost that landed upon him as it seemed to pick up.. he was overjoyed, though one could hardly tell from looking at the calm state of the beast. Inky lips finally smiled, his eye never leaving Miach as he simply gave him an affirmative nod. He had been expecting some sort of horror story involving the females out of their close family, though no news was certainly good news under circumstances like these. He decided not to press matters, as what was here before him was now his only concern.
When you're taught to love everyone,
To love your enemies,
Then what value does that place on love?
Miach was born a curious creature. A male with a thirst for knowledge and power but level-headed enough to not allow it to overtake him. At times he was weak and his father did not help. The constant preaching of demons and hatred truly ate at his brain. The world around him wizzed by with such ease and wonder. Family members finding joy and others finding their demise. It seemed no matter what Miach did the world would keep going on with or without him. The only way to find any sense of happiness or accomplishment would be to make a name for himself. To find a pack to lend a powerful paw. Learn from others and perhaps even gain a few companions. He knew Kane would agree thus he was the first sibling Miach sought out. The crimson beast hadn't a clue where his father was or even the rest of his blood. But, for now he was perfectly fine with following Kane. As Kane spoke a gentle pang of pain flicked through Miach's chest. He observed the scar with a simple nod. A reminder of the hatred that singes their blood. A deep red and black tail flicked as he continued to hear out his sibling's vocals. Thoughts of his sister and beloved mother filled his mind. Miach painted pictures of their family being happy and even thriving. Before his break form Boreas he was fine with settling into the mold Elias made for him. But now he was fine with moving on. To move on and welcome those that want to join them on a lighter path in life. Miach would not longer lend his worries to adults who wish to follow blindly as he once did. Miach shook off his own thoughts as Kane spoke of Lirim. A gentle smile flicked across inky lips as he offered a more assuring nod this time. He thought over his extended family for a few moments before emitting his own baritone vocals. "I will accompany you, Kane." The male looked his sibling over for a moment. "Call upon me when you are ready and I will come, I will reside nearby until then." He looked to the waterfall for a few long moments. "I am glad to be back and to have this opportunity to redeem myself." Perhaps his goals and ambitions were selfish. But the male just wished to not live in such a depressive state. Anxiety and worries would always riddle his tender mind but if he could do something to not loathe himself he would make an effort to do so. The behemoth offered a more light-hearted grin as he looked towards Kane again. Piercing red eyes gazed into his brother's one eye. "Enough of our tragedies." He leaned forward slightly, "What have you been up to?" He was genuinely curious as to what Kane had been doing in the north or even in general.
