Joining Valkyrie's band had been a little while ago now. The whole thing was interesting, but Kvasir had a feeling he was not quite as excited as Aesir probably was. Nothing against the girl of course, he just wasn't thirsting for a raid the same. Actually, he had lots else to attend to and none of it involved fighting. With the skull in his jaws and a large clump of clay filling the inside of it, he'd made his way a little ways north after getting directions from a random traveler he'd bumped into. Funny looking fellow, but his redeeming quality had been that he'd pointed Kvasir in the direction of a place where lava ran close to the surface of the earth. There was a certain bounce in his step, as though he was almost skipping his way across the mostly barren ground. After pausing earlier to get a drink at a thin stream that trickled through the space between points of interest the viking was feeling rather good.

When the ground began to change and darken in color and he thought he felt the temperature shifting Kvasir knew he was getting close and picked up the pace, excited to see if he could make his idea work.

Her short time in the North, so far, had been incredibly fruitful. Not in the ways that others might prefer, but to her, the experiences and the sights made it worthwhile. She was practically a Northern virgin. Her entire life she lived in warmer climates, and just a few days ago had decided to explore the northern regions and she couldn't get enough of it. Every new land she visited, every turn she made brought something new, and today would be no different. The babe made her way towards the mountains, and on the way, she came across something very peculiar. The distinct scent of sulfur caught her attention, the babe wrinkling her nose at it. Never before had she seen fire or lava, but she knew the smell because of the mountain in the East. She heard stories about it. How it spit fire into the sky before raining it down on the earth. Despite her fiery attitude and attempts at being fearless, she was very afraid of the fire mountain.

Here, too, she was hesitant. She was curious about it though, and as she slowly made her way near the place, she just about decided that maybe she shouldn't go near it. But then something drew her attention. A wolf seemingly heading into the bowels of the earth. Paradise was a curious creature, though she wouldn't admit it to anyone. She was also nosy, so that part of her wanted to know what that wolf was doing running towards potential death. She decided to follow him, moving at a fast pace in the hopes of catching up with the brown wolf before he went too far. Before she suddenly changed her mind. "Hey! You! Wait up!" She shouted at him, hoping he heard her and that she caught up in time.
