They had finally made their move to the new territories and for the first few nights she had found a temporary spot, nothing permanent. After settling she had began to get familiar with the main territory of the castle some of it fairly familiar from her brief time in the pack of Talis. She was healed up and ready to start getting into her rank within Risen, to once again prove her worth. She was remaining positive that the rest of Aurum would be found and she was remaining positive on the new chapter that now faced her. Since Typhon had decided to stay with Risen she had made her decision to stay as well. There was a lot of new faces that she had yet to really get to know, but one thing was for sure she was ready to meet them.

Today though she was devoting herself to finding a proper denning spot, weather it be in one of the various rooms of the castle or digging her own den. She would preferred to have shared with someone, but she felt it was improper to ask and would once again make due with her own spot. She was careful as she moved through the castle, not wanting to disturb others in the pack, and surely not wanting to invade in anyone's chosen spot. Exploring the stone halls and looking into the empty unclaimed rooms to see if any would fit. So far all of them looked way to large for one simple body, but there was more castle to explore and wouldn't let her mood be dampened.

Typhon was still growing accustomed to the Risen Empire's new lands. Though he couldn't help but feel slightly unsettled at first after moving into a new territory, his talk with Malleus had helped him feel as though he finally had some direction - and that direction was Zinnia. He'd yet to truly make a move, but he couldn't stop thinking about what Malleus thought best for him and for the Abraxas family. Of course, he was used to over-analyzing everything and his slight worries about Zinnia rejecting his advances had caused him to feel a bit wary about the whole thing. What if she rejected him? Would Malleus see him as being at fault then? Trying to physically shake those thoughts from his mind, he decided to follow her scent once he grabbed hold of it. He'd been busying himself with scouting the borders of this run-down structure, amazed at just how much space it took up. The castle's rooms seemed to branch out far in every direction, some rooms rather intact - despite being completely reclaimed by vines and vegetation - while others were barely more than heaps of stone and rubble.

He was cautious as he navigated the unknown structure, occasionally hearing the rustle of someone presumably in an adjacent room. Zinnia's scent had grown stronger, and he hoped that by trailing after it he didn't seem like he was following her too closely. He dawdled for quite awhile, getting a better feel for some of the larger rooms, and trying to record the path he was taking to his memory. He didn't quite expect to see Zinnia when he turned the corner, though, and the slightly startled expression on his face was unmistakable. "Oh, er, hey there," Typhon greeted her, his voice hesitant but fading into a familiar sort of warmth that always seemed to appear around her. This place had an odd smell, and apparently it had temporarily screwed with his senses. "Finding anything interesting in here yet?" The Abraxas cast her a curiously look before averting his gaze to their surroundings, in particular to a tall stone pillar that rose from the earth high to the crumbled castle ceiling, at least four times his height, if not more.

She had moved further until a rather large pillar captured her attention. Teal eyes fallowed it skyward, taking in it's height. There had been stories passed down through the generations within her clan about the two leggeds. She remembered coming across some strange structure as a pup and being told by one of the elders about oddly tall two legged creatures from years before her time. These creatures had created all these weird structures they came across and the beautiful trinkets that they clan found along the way. She was never sure if it was believable or not, but it made sense enough to explain places like this castle. No wolves could possibly create such a place, unless of course they were gods.

Her attention was drawn away, a voice that made her stomach flutter in both surprise and delight. Dropping and turning her gaze her eyes focused on Typhon's face, a smile easily spreading across her muzzle. Tail gently wagged as he spoke before his own gaze traveled to the pillar.

"This place has a lot of neat spots most of them large, Seems quite fitting for your family's pack in my opinion," she replied looking back up to the pillar. "Did you pick out a spot for yourself yet?"

She was curious where he decided to lay his head at night wondering if he had picked one of the large spacious rooms or if he tried to find a nook just big enough to house himself. She was probably being a little nosy, but at least she hoped to find out where she could find him. Plus she was hoping to create conversation.

He'd been dwelling on his own lack of.. certainty? Or was it confidence? .. when Zinnia arrived. Sometimes he couldn't help but marvel at Malleus's steadfast demeanor, especially when he himself felt so turbulent inside. He wasn't sure why it seemed so easy for others and not for himself. Even now he found himself fumbling awkwardly over his words, never quite sure how to say things to Zinnia, who was easily one of the wolves whose company he enjoyed the most. Either way, he decided he hadn't completely screwed up by the easy smile that spread across her features, which he mirrored slowly in a slight grin of his own.

"I think so too," Typhon agreed easily. Something in the structure reminded him of a place his father might enjoy. Perhaps the Fallen God had shown his nephew the way to this place; it certainly seemed like the sort of place his more militaristic family would find appealing. Her question caused him to shake his head slowly. "I haven't yet. Any suggestions?" Typhon let his gaze move from the pillar he'd been examining back to Zinnia, his voice holding a far more playful air than usual. Hopefully she had a suggestion? He really hadn't considered an actual den site yet, but hopefully knowing where hers was might give him a better idea...

He agreed with her, did that mean she was growing more familiar with the family? Or was he simply being nice with that answer? She liked to think there was a good reason Malleus had picked this particular place. It was large, intimidating, and mysterious just like the lot of Abraxas she had met already. It seemed very fitting for the family. It also made her feel extremely small in comparison to this place. Her attention drew back to him as he spoke asking her for suggestions. She looked away from him for a moment.

"Well.... So far I found rooms far to big for just one wolf, it would get fairly cool in one of the large rooms I believe even for you," she said looking to him. "Although I havn't fully explored, maybe we could still find some good spots."

She would love if he had the time to give her some company. It was silly for her to think that maybe he would even be willing to share a spot with her. The thought made her cheeks feel a bit warm. She smiled at him as she waited for his answer, to see if he would accompany her.

Somehow around Zinnia Typhon found himself feeling far less tormented than usual. What was usually a rippling tide of anxiety, surging just beneath the surface, seemed far calmer than usual in her presence. That was why he'd taken Malleus's advice to heart when he's discussed with him what the Gods had shown him and Ashiel both - not only did he trust them, but the way he felt drawn to Zinnia was something he could only attribute to the gods themselves.

She admitted she hadn't found anything suitable for just one wolf yet, though she seemed interested in scoping the place out with him. His worry in finding a proper den in this structure would be over whether it was stable or not; he'd seen enough piles of crumbled stone that made him wonder how long the entire structure could stand. Obviously time had taken its toll on it, but being buried under a mess of rock and stone didn't sound appealing either. "Let's look around, then," Typhon suggested, already beginning to move from his stilled position toward the direction he hadn't gone yet. The thought of spending more time with her was definitely intriguing to him and he couldn't help but wonder if she'd be receptive to finding a place to dig a den close to his own. Obviously sharing one would be a better step, but he didn't want to screw things up by moving too quickly without being certain she at least returned some of his feelings - not that he himself entirely knew how to classify them yet.

Her tail would wag as he spoke of looking around, beginning to move as he spoke. She stuck with him, walking by his side and keeping her eyes peeled around them. She wanted to be close to him and she would love the idea of having either a den close, or a den shared with him. They have seemed closer since the flood, since he had saved her from death. She was worried that he may deny it, but why would he? It was the typical thinking, over analyzing that she had done, but she knew if it was left unsuggested that she may never get the chance to be close to him. She didn't have much to loose, so why was she holding back?

She kept her eyes on the surroundings as her heart and her mind began to fight against one another, briefly before she grew tired of it and decided to go with what her heart truly wanted.

"If we find a good spot, maybe a shared den would be a good idea," she suggested, but unable to look and see what his reaction would be. "A lot of spots I've seen seem..... weakened from time."

She was fearful of denial and didn't want to see his reaction if that was the answer to come. She tried to calm her racing heart and her busy mind.

Typhon was thoroughly distracted. While he'd been eager to explore the castle at first, stumbling into Zinnia here had thrown him for a loop and now he was having trouble focusing. She seemed content to wander alongside him, though occasionally he'd slow to let her take the lead, to spent a moment quietly observing her without fear of repercussion. When it came to her, though she certainly calmed his anxious soul, he couldn't help but feel a wild uncertainty. It was hard to imagine she fully shared his affections, even in the few moments they'd shared that seemed to clarify things, and even now as she spoke - entirely mirroring his own thoughts - he felt himself temporarily stunned.

A shared den? Was she being serious? Of course she is, he reminded himself sharply, briefly shaking his head before picking up his pace and catching up to her.  "Oh.. yes. Maybe we could do something like that." Typhon hadn't wanted to sound overly eager but he realized he'd sounded more hesitant than he meant to. Oh god, what am I doing? He clenched his jaw, trying to conjure up some courage from deep in his heart. "If we find a good spot, I mean," he added after a moment of thought, deciding the more casual route was the way to go.
