She was restless and itching to hunt and had found a large group of Tapir's. They were a game that she couldn't take on her own and she was hoping to round up some of Risen's member to help her out. Although she was currently within loner lands, but she felt she was close enough to pack territory for others to hear. To ensure she was close enough she backtracked to the borders of the dam and God's garden.

Lifting her head she let out a long howl, calling for anyone in the pack interested in a hunt. She wanted to show she was fitting into her rank and bond with her fellow pack members. There had been so many new faces at the last meeting and now that she was officially a Risen pack member she wanted to get to know the others.

She lowered her head after her call and anxiously waited, hoping that at least somebody was up to help her with a hunt. It wasn't a pack hunt, but an offer to do a small hunt with her. Looking back towards the direction of the Tapir, itching for a good hunt.

Hearing Zinnia's call ring out across the Risen Empire's lands instantly caught his attention. Though he wasn't inclined to ignore it anyway, he'd be foolish to not act on her call after the conversation he'd just recently had with Malleus. He had a role to play in the Abraxas family, and he intended to fulfill it as best as he could. The faint nervousness (not that he'd ever admit that out loud) that he felt in his stomach around Zinnia had only been exacerbated by that talk, and if he'd been uncertain about talking to her now, well.. that was an entirely different story.

As nonchalant as he could muster he headed in the direction of her call, where she was hunting under the cover of aspen trees. His pace was slow and careful, and the scent of a group of tapir touched his nose as he neared her. Wondering if anyone else would come to join her, Typhon was quite pleasantly surprised when she was still alone. "Zinn," he greeted her quietly and with a dip of his head as he drew closer, keeping his voice now. Though unsure how far the prey were from them, he wasn't interested in startling them and ruining a perfectly good hunt. "Lovely day for a hunt," he added as a conversational afterthought.

Watch Me Take That Flicker To Flame

Ashiel was resting in the garden when he heard Zinnia's call. Mæva was now 3 months old and that was old enough to start moving and wandering all over the place. She was surprisingly quick for her short, stubby legs. He had no idea how Malleus and Serene managed to wrangle five of the little squirts. Thankfully the girl was resting. Ashiel stretched and after leaving the girl to Shilah he headed in the direction of the call. It was time for him to get up anyway and get his body warmed up for his next patrol.

When he saw Zinnia he dipped his head in greeting. "Hello Zinnia, what is it you've found?" He also turned to greet Typhon. "Good to see you Typhon, I hope you are well."

She remained alert finding that she didn't have to wait long at all before she heard Typhon's careful approach. Eyes moved from where the quarry were to Typhon's face a smile spreading across her lips as he greeted her. She was glad he was here, glad he had come to help her get some food for the pack. Her tail gently wagged as he spoke of being a good day to hunt.

"It is.... And we have a good opportunity today too," she replied quietly.

Then another came, a another familiar face which made her feel even more relieved about taking on these Tapir. Ashiel greeted them both and asked what she has found.

"A herd of Tapir are up ahead. I found at least two that would be good targets and maybe we can even get both if we play our cards right," she spoke in lowered voice. "The first target is an older male with a very noticeable limp on the front left leg. He's very slow moving compared to the rest of the herd. The second target is another older, more slower one, but looks fairly healthy other then that."

The brief moment Typhon hoped they might spend alone together was short-lived. Ashiel had heard her call as well and loped toward them, greeting them both. The thought of hunting alone with her had been a selfish hope, and though he felt a brief spark of disappointment he would push those thoughts aside and turn to face his approaching kin. Typhon flashed him a genuine smile, dipping his head respectfully. "Greetings, Ashiel," he spoke, though turned his attention back to Zinnia when she spoke up again.

She'd scented a group of tapir up ahead. Both were older, and one had a limp. The latter would be easier to pick off, perhaps a job for just one of them, while the other might be trickier.  "What's the plan? One of us go after the limping one while the other focus on the healthier, faster one?" Typhon asked curiously, glancing to Ashiel as well for comment if he had any insight into what they ought to do.
