A heavily-scarred black female with lighter brindling and the obvious look of a warrior swaggers in to survey the fighters, and her gaze swings over them to alight on Justice and Archon. "Well I do declare," she exclaims, "ain't you two jes' as cute as a couple little buttons? Come along now, let's jes' get out of the way." She leads the pair over to a circle of stones set into a ring in the ground. "Now, you jes' keep yourselves in that there circle, hear? If y'all step out you forfeit the match. I'll declare a winner once y'all are done going hog wild. You go first, sugar," she adds to Archon.

An oddly scarred female led Archon and another wolf to the ring and gestured for him to start battling. Archon followed to the ring and attempted to distance himself 10ft from the woman. All his defenses fell into place naturally, still warmed up from his previous victory. When he was ready, Archon launched himself forward. His tail motioned behind him, letting Obi know to hang back for the next attack.

Archon attempted to slam his chest directly into Justice's chest, his jaws going directly for the female's face. He hoped to cause the woman to jump back, unbalanced and to use that unbalance to knock her down with brute force. Hopefully it would be a strong start.

_________________________________________________________________________ Justice was relaxed as she waited for her first fight to come up. She hadn't been in the first round, so she'd been able to find herself a spot near a few of the rings to observe potential opponents, though apparently she'd gone near the wrong rings because she was paired up with someone she hadn't seen. She'd seen Laisren's match though, and seen the psycho from Talis who'd blinded two of their members move to the next round, much to her disgust. Laisren hadn't won his match, but he'd be able to participate in another round once this one was over so she was looking forward to cheering her pack on. Neither of the kids won their matches which was too bad, but maybe it would push both of the almost-yearlings to work harder. Justice's ears pricked when she was indicated, though her face twisted in puzzled confusion at the scarred female's accent and words. "Did she just call us 'cute as a couple of buttons'?" she murmured in an aside to her opponent, though he looked so focused that she wasn't sure he heard her. Justice shrugged and followed him. The ref told her opponent he'd be first, so Justice let herself fall casually into her warrior's stance, holding herself lightly but relaxed, ready to move but not so tightly wound she was going to wear herself out before the match even started. She had energy to spare, but the tournament was a long one so she didn't want to waste it while it was still early. She sized up her opponent and grinned. Yeah, he was a big guy wasn't he? But she'd fought a bear, and had a pretty good idea of what something this big was going to do. Wait for it... Yep, there he went, charging directly at her to try to bowl her over. A bear would do it with the intention of grabbing her up and crushing her, but at least she didn't have to worry about that. She didn't wait for him to almost reach her - he was too fast and the ring was too small for there to be much more than a beat between when he'd begun and when he would hit her, so she couldn't waste her reflex time. Instead she sprang to her left immediately to avoid the charge and the bite, dug her hindclaws in, shifted her weight onto her hindquarters and lifted her forelegs, rearing to raise the level of her head, twisting so her muzzle faced him. Her jaws snapped at the corner where his jaw met his throat on his right side, looking to slice skin and draw first blood but not to grip. As her jaws snapped shut - cut or no cut - she was already in motion, her coiled hindquarters pushing off like springs to propel her up and further to her left, as she twisted in midair with the intention of landing facing towards her opponent again. Honestly the girl should have just let him bowl her over. But she didn't. That was fine. He guessed. She launched, turning and Archon immediately slowed, hit tail motioning for Obi to get into action. Justice's jaws biting and leaving moderate cuts on Archon's right jaw.

As the girl leaped and oriented herself to face Archon, Obi jumped onto Archon's back, using it as a spring board to throw himself at the girl, aiming to land on her back and throw her off balance. At the same time, Archon attempted to swing his body full force into the girl, hoping the combination would throw her outside of the ring.

_________________________________________________________________________ The man's monkey, of all things, leaped from the ground to his back and then flew at her face. Justice, startled, ducked instinctively. She didn't know how to fight a monkey! She just dropped to her belly and rolled to her right, dodging out of the way of the monkey who landed where she'd just been and also barely in time to avoid Archon spinning into where she'd been. Man that big, he'd have knocked her sideways for sure. As soon as she'd made two full rotations and come back to her belly again, Justice didn't even wait to stand up again, but rather kicked off with a spurt of sand to lunge for Archon's forelegs, aiming to get a grip on the taller male's left foreleg and bear down on it. Justice backed away panting as the coydog declared the larger male the winner of the match. Her muzzle creased into a grimace at the loss, but she accepted it. She wasn't, after all, infallible, and she'd done her best for being against two opponents. All the companion animals being used in the fights for the tournament, often to great effect, was making her wonder if maybe she needed to get some pets herself and train them up to fight. Paladin having a primate companion to do more delicate healing work for him had already put it in mind, and this much taller male's primate companion willingly joining in on battle was definitely making the idea even more appealing. She gave him a curt nod, acknowledging his victory, and stepped out of the ring to clear it for the next round.
