Cloud woke up this morning to the sound of tearing flesh and clicking claws. Blinking open his eyes, he peered out of his den to find his Osprey companion was settled on a low hanging branch just outside, stripping the flesh off of a fat trout. Cloud's nostrils flared as he took in the smell of the fish, eyes blinking open and ear twitching as he watched. He couldn't lie to himself, that fish looked pretty good. And his companion looked like he was enjoying it. He hadn't had fish in a while now that he thought about it, so he quietly stood and shook his coat free of dust and headed out. "Come on, we're going fishing." He stated as he trotted past the raptor.

The Osprey needed no further prompting as he quickly finished his meal and took to the sky. Together, the pair headed out in the early morning hours to reach the nearby river that wound its way nearby. It would be a nice day for fishing, he could feel it already. Upon reaching the river, he set to searching for the perfect spot to start, stomach already rumbling with the anticipation of catching a good meal for himself, and for the pack.

A hauntingly familiar scent clung to the brisk spring air but it was of no one he could pin point. It reminded him of kin, but for all Miach knew that could be half of the natives he met. Elias spewed forth his seed enough to riddle these lands with his offspring. Thus, as the crimson brute moved through the thicket his eyes were wide with worry and demeanor stiff as a board. Miach did not fancy the idea of bumping into one of his father's companions in the slightest. But, with his previous interaction with Acere he couldn't be so sure everyone still bowed down to the demonic ghoul.

Giant paws hit the earth as he moved along the river. Soon his blood red gaze fell upon a black and white pelt. Steps slowed as he silently observed the opposing Wolf. He was familiar but with everything that had happened it was very hard to put his claw on who this stranger was. But, what he could suss out was that the stranger was on a fishing venture. With a half-assed shrug the crimson beast moved closer to the other Wolf. Miach offered a neutral expression with lips in a fine line. "Greetings." It was all the nervous male would offer, not wishing to disturb him too much. If a problem arrised Miach would likely just trot away as if nothing had happened.

His companion called out, catching his attention just in time to see some fish leaping from the warming waters of the river. Cloud licked his lips, belly rumbling again as his potential prey leaped around. Bi-colored gaze watched as his companion swooped down, scooping one unlucky fish from the water and soaring back into the sky. Moments later, the bird dropped the fish on the bank near his canine companion. "Show off!" The only response he got was a smirk from the bird as it climbed back over the river.

Cloud set to walking along the bank as he looked for a good spot to start fishing. Occupied with his task, he almost didn't notice someone else approaching, and his companion being...well, the way he was, had failed to notify the Hunter. "Greetings." Cloud turned his attention to the supposed stranger. The male appeared to be his age, though what got him was the somewhat familiar crimson gaze looking back at him. He stood there for a few moments, observing the stranger. The scent of him was...vaguely familiar. But he couldn't quite figure out why. "Do I...know you from somewhere?" He was having a hard time trying to figure it out. It bugged him though...so he figured he ought to be straightforward and ask.
