The young one rose fairly early that morning, so early that even their mother was still asleep in the den. Boooring! Evangelos waited for a moment, hoping that one of his siblings might begin to stir.
...and… nothing.
Evangelos frowned, furrowing his brow before moving over to Dylas. This wasn’t going to do at all. The young boy was not going to be up by himself. No sir! He looked down at Dylas’ sleeping form and, for a moment, debated about messing with Dy’s mane. Both boys were very particularly about their looks… but Dylas moreso. Dismissing the idea, since he didn’t want the den to erupt into an uproar, he decided to nudge his brother with a paw instead.
“Hey, Big D, wake up.” The boy prodded gently again. “Come on, we’re going exploring.” He explained, a grin on his face as he waited for Dylas to stir.

He'd been sleeping rather peacefully and having a good dream. That is, until he felt something nudging him awake. He stirred a bit, eyes blinking open in bleary fashion as his brother slowly came into view. "Huh? Wha?" A big yawn cracked his jaws open wide before he shivered with that waking up feeling. "Evan? What're you wakin' me up for?" He yawned again as he tried to close his eyes and hope this was just part of a dream. Maybe if he ignored his brother long enough, he'd go away so he could sleep. But after a few moments, sleep refused to come. He groaned into his fur before peeking at Evan...still there...looking at him. Frowning, he lifted his head just enough until it rested on his mom's flank, though he was careful not to wake her. He stared blurry daggers at his brother for waking him up, and whatever the reason was for...it better be good. speech action |
