the Ademre. He knew the name of what he was now, and he could say the name and know that it felt right as rolled across his tongue. He could picture a piece of the windswept terratory they called home. He could not recal the faces of his parents, or what it had been like to grow up in a full den surrounded by the bodies of his family. He was a long way away from having everything, but it was a start.

He and Ballad had welcomed Eris back into the fold, they denned together now and spoke of their home and what they had been through. He wasnt sure what path to take next. He didnt know for certain the way home, and wasnt sure he was ready to be greeted by so many strangers at once, even as he longed for the familiar.

Running cleared his head, he knew that from day one after losing his memory. It was easy to take to his paws and move like the wind, it balanced him and brought him a measure of peace. It was early morning when he started out, and the shadows from the early sun where long, and the brighter reds of his coat where lost in the blacks.

Skaelingr Pyre

Blood stained his snow white pelt, smeared across his muzzle as Skaelingr finished the rabbit that was to be his breakfast. He wanted to get an early start before the sun rose too high in the sky. His albino skin recoiled from the heat of the noonday sun and it was a time he had marked for rest. Best to cover as much ground as he could. He'd already suffered one sun burn on the top of his head and his ears from not hiding himself enough in the shade during his last rest. he did not wish to exacerbate the condition.

Moving like a ghost through the orchard he set his sights northward. He was moving at a good clip when movement caught his eyes. A quick test of the wind told him that the scent was a wolf, and not only that but it was terribly familiar. Lament? Had he at last found one of the others? Skaelingr increased his speed, racing toward the source of the scent and when he finally saw the other wolf, cloaked in the dim light as he was, Skaelingr knew for certain it was Lament. He was compelled to speak out, both to catch the other's attention and the relief and joy that flooded his heart was just to much for him. He knew it was childish but in that moment he could not help calling out.

Lament! Thank Fenris, it is good to see you." He reached out to nuzzle the other man's shoulder.

The man was lost in the thrill of his run, of the wind battering against his ears, and the ground moving beneath his paws. He didn’t expect the stranger that appeared before him, calling out to him by name.

Lament came to a stop, quite suddenly, his breath catching in his throat from more than just his run. The man thanked Fenris, which he had just recently been told was a part of their religion. It didn’t resonate with him, and he did not recognise the name. But he trusted Eris, and believed without doubt everything she had told them about their people.

The man entered his space, and well Lament was accustomed to having no personal space, it still surprised him when this stranger embraced him without hesitation. Lament took a stop back, and looked over the white wolf with appraising eyes. This was not Amaretto, the wolf they desperately sought. So who was he?
“My deepest apologies.” Lament said, paw moving through Unease, Curiosity, Sadness.”

How to tell someone who clearly knew him, that he had no recollection of them? “Something defell me and took my memories. I am still learning what I had lost, and I do not know who you are. Please, can you tell me?” his words formal, and strange, as through he spoke to a stranger.

Skaelingr Pyre

Skaelingr stepped back from Lament and noted the man looking him over. At first he thought nothing of it, thinking Lament was just checking to see that he was in good health but when the man offered his apologies Skae new something was off. His suspicion only grew as Lament expressed his unease.

He stated that something had taken his memories. Skaelingr was barely able to stop shock from spreading across his features. Lament had lost his memories? Concern, Understanding

He nodded lightly. "Yes, of course. My name is Skaelingr. I'm your cousin. Do you know if your memories will return? Have you run across any others of the Ademre?"
