she saw some wolves go with their animal friends to a big field to catch bugs. she followed, the attendant gifting her a small bag so she could catch her own. Siobhan wanted to catch the bugs and keep them; she was always asleep by the time the fireflies came out on Lirim's lands. Papa made sure she was watched here too, and she puffed up her little chest to try and look more important. she wanted to do her best for the wolves of Lirim and represent her pack, no matter how small she was. she spotted Lirim's healer, Holland, going off with aunt Kairi to dig. but other than her siblings and parents, she had no one to join her. having no animal friends to play with, Siobhan walked around with the bag alone. pausing in the field, she giggled and burst forward with speed as her goal. the lights flickered to life and went to the sky at her impact. the girl craned her neck skyward and jumped, hoping to catch at least one or two fireflies in the process. ooc; sio attempt 1

This event sounded the most fun and he lagged behind his sister. He had lagged behind because he was watching another contestant as they tried to catch fireflies. It was a much older wolf and Paddy was hoping to learn something as he observed. He watched for a little while before he headed to the creature handing out the catching supplies. He too was handed some sort of bag, a lightweight thing that he carried in his mouth as he fallowed his sister to her chosen spot. He patiently waited for her to take her first turn, watching as she ran and jumped, attempting to scoop up the bugs within the bag.

She had a good idea going and he felt that it would be the best way to approach this event. Grinning he dropped his head and readjusted his mouth grip on the bag before picking his head up high and bursting forward as fast as he could. He would run and leap, run and leap, attempting to catch the bugs within the bag as he moved forward, hoping his momentum would keep them within the bag if they were caught.

Paddy Firefly catch attempt #1

it seemed she had been one of the few pups to participate in the event but she was delighted to see Paddy walk up to her. her turn ended, she'd face her brother as he tried too. he also got two fireflies, causing Siobhan to bounce over to him and whoop. she'd press her nose into his side before placing her sack down to talk. "let's team up! you go over there and I'll come from the other side; we can herd them in between us!" without waiting for her brother's approval, she'd giggle and rush away. her sack was plucked up in the process again. pausing for a moment a few paces away from Paddy, she'd rush at him. the fireflies scattered again, but a few seemed to be going along with the girl's plan. a good amount of them shot in front of her, heading toward Paddy. yes! yes! come on pretty bugs! Siobhan thought, aiming to turn in an arch as she neared her brother so not to smack into him. all the while, her head tipped upward, hoping to catch more pretty bugs. ooc; sio attempt 2, no companion used
