Shaye had completed her firefly quest, and handed over the goods to one of the staff running the show. She held onto the bag however, and made her way through the firefly-rich lands as she looked for members of her pack, or just people in general that still looked as though they needed to add to their stashes.
She enjoyed the buzzing atmosphere of the festival, the laughter she had seen in the wolves that past her by. Just as she had told Fracture, she believed members of her pack, and others beyond, needed this.
She caught the scent of Corvus and turned her head in his direction with a surprised smile. The young man, well still learning how to associate with his new rank in Abaven, hadn’t been a very outwards man. It was good to see him here, and she approached him with a smile. “Corcus, just starting on the fireflies?” she asked with a friendly smile.

She returned his smile, and gave a nod as she mentioned Aiden, who had appeared at their body a little skinny and out of sorts, but had been seen to and was slowly emerging into the larger part of Abaven. She remembered that they were brothers, and Corvus’s delight when he had seen his brother. Shaye was glad family had returned to him, even if it left a soft pang in the old woman's heart as she remembered those she had loved and lost and would never see again.
“I am, I’m just checking on the others and seeing where people are up to.” she explained, watching as he scooped a passing cluster of bugs into his paw. She grinned as she watched him. “I found giving the bag a shake well it's closed, and twisting it in the middle, kept the bugs stuck in there well i picked up more.’ she explained to him the tactic she had been using.

He seemed agreeable to try her way, and he did as she suggested with the bag, giving it a bit of a shake. She hoped he would be able to get a good haul, and was more than amenable to helping him out. She would pass him a few fireflies of her own, if she didn’t think it would get them both disqualified. Besides, it would ruin the fun if they didn’t play the game to its full extent.
“It one of the strangest” she agreed, having never heard of anything like this before. Of course, she was open to the idea of new things, and a lot of the packs had mentioned to her in passing their desire to build group festivals and so on within the lands. Someone else had simply bet them to it, and she wanted to encourage it. It was a great idea to bring people from all walks of life together.
“It is a good distraction, and i’m glad to see a few Abaven wolves attending she agreed easily “Heres another cluster now” she said, pointing at the bugs as they drifted closer.

Shaye had been careful to keep all of her fireflies alive, and she too wondered what their fate would be at the end of of this festival. If they would make lamps from their lights, or release them. They were certainly going to have a lot of them, whatever they decide to do…
She hadn’t expected the conversation to turn to pack matters, and turned her attention to him so that he would know she was listening and curious. “You can talk to either of us” She promised him, though she had told him that Rhyme specialised in the warrior part of pack duties. His offer surprised and pleased her, and she straightened up, not needed to consider it. “That’s an excellent suggestion Corvus, both of them need exposure to different teachers, do you have a preference?” she asked him. If he didn’t want to pick, she would happily assign one of the two to him.
