He was out patrolling the familiar borders today. It was strange being back here, but he did miss it. It was also strange to know his brother was here, too. He hadn't seen to much of him when they were loners, but he knew his brother lingered around with their mom, keeping an eye im her now that she was older. He worried immensely for his mom. Knowing her time on this earth, with them... was getting shorter by the day. He held hope that she would live forever, but even he wasn't that naive. He knew they couldn't live forever... his mother would be lost to time eventually. All he could do now was spend as much time with her as he could, and help her along the way.

Yurei's first days at Winterfell were calm. So far she hasn't met any other wolf who could call this lands their home. Heloise and King Acere were the only ones she was aware of, and despite their apparent kindness, it was still hard for her to trust in them that quick. It wasn't her intention to doubt their care but many times she was betrayed, many times she was attacked for no reason. And most were after she trusted her life with them, and each time her trust around people grew thinner and thinner. To the point of never fully believe in what others had to say. Today, the female wanted to explore. Her walk like always was insecure, with her ears flattened and tail placed between her legs. Olivaceus eyes looked around with fear. "Can you see me?"

He continued his walk along the familiar borders, marking where it needed it and keeping his ears perked for anything unusual. His companions had gone off to do their own thing, so he was patrolling alone when a new scent reached him. He had no idea who it was or where exactly they were, but he could tell it was a newer member of the pack. He hadn't smelled her during the first gathering when Acere claimed the pack, so he figured she had joined sometime after if not more than a few days ago. Pausing where he was, he turned his head towards inside pack lands, armored head hiding his sightless gaze. The dragon armor he wore everyday, not for shame but rather for comfort. He felt a sense of security with it on...and it was the only part of someone he once loved that he had left. "Hello? Someone there?" He would call out, listening for signs of approach.

She kept going, walking as silent as possible. She didn't want to alert others of her presence, she didn't want to put herself in danger, a danger that could be prevented by being cautious with who she talked to. A lifetime of bad treats and hostility made her wary of strangers, never trusting too much on them , including Heloise. Yea she gave her a place to live, but her distrustful nature made her still doubt her den's mate real intentions with her. She still had the fear of being attacked at night, of being insulted or chased aways.

As these thoughts took place, she ignored the presence she was approaching to. But as a voice echoed through the woods, she stopped her march. Green eyes scanned the surroundings. And there a wolf with armor was seen, a view she didn't expect meeting. "I am a Yurei...I am sorry...It wasn't my intention bother you..." She said lowering her ears in fear, her words were soft and shivering.
