Saren was eager to learn almost anything about healing, once he got back from the festival he couldn’t wait. Hopefully he could be Rain’s apprentice officially so Thalia could get off his back about being useful. He hadn’t explored much outside of the castle so the garden was new to him. There were a lot of plants and it looked almost chaotic. Saren couldn’t imagine where he would even start learning about any of the plants and what they did. They all looked so different, some of them were only leaves, some had small flowers, some were as vibrant as ever and some were slowly dying from the weather. The ground was slightly squishy as well for the consistent rain they had been getting. It was amazing.

Rain had been plagued by splitting headaches since the festival; a constant drumming against the front of his head, that his mind told him could only be cured by smoking plants. The smoke had, of course, made the headache’s worse and the pain had become so excruciating that he snapped at Fauldr near constantly. He regretted it after the monkey huffed and left the dungeon to hang around the troop that lived on the castle’s walls, but so far he hadn’t said a single word of apology. He went to the garden, searching for his companion in the hopes of convincing him to return to the dungeons, but the small pup meandering through the garden caught his attention first. “Saren.” He greeted; his voice edged with pain as he grit his teeth to keep the hostility from his voice. “Good morning.” He said although he was sure by now it was well afternoon.
