Racing Old Man Winter [Healing Lesson]
Chrysanthos was eager to share all he had learned and to speak with some of the other healers in the pack as well as those who were curious about healing. In his back he had a number of items and a few ideas but mostly he wanted to see what others wished to know about. With winter around the corner they were quickly losing their prime gathering time and soon it would be difficult. There were a number of roots that were in season in the autumn that he wasn't sure if everyone knew about so he thought he'd share and the lesson could go where it would from there. Bolla bounced along on his back, nestled right between his shoulder blades and his neck as he fingers dug into his scruff.
Finding a good spot next to the shrine he set his items down and then called for a gathering of the packs healers as well as those who just wished to hang out for a little while.
She had been sick lately, the flu she had contracted from her rogue wanderings some time ago was stubborn and kept coming back. It was likely she had been using the wrong combination of herbs. She was feeling better for the past week, and she hoped it wouldn't come back anytime soon if at all. When she heard Chrysanthos' call, her lips twitched up in a smile and she decided to join him. She hadn't done much in Olympia since it's creation, and that was mainly because she had isolated herself so she wouldn't get anyone else sick. With a deep sigh and the need to want to get more involved with her family's pack, she moved swiftly so as not to keep him waiting.
She arrived to find him alone, and nobody else had gathered. Her eyes narrowed slightly as a quiet tsk of her tongue indicated her displeasure. Sure she felt she had been late but she had assumed others would have been there at least. Healing was an important skillset to learn just in case there were none nearby to help when you were in a dire predicament. She approached Chrys with a warm smile. "Sorry to keep you waiting, dear." She sat down and gracefully wrapped her tail around her haunches as she waited for either others to arrive or to start a discussion with him about their passion.

Chrysanthos waited patiently but he still fidgeted on his paws. He'd kept to himself so much he felt a little exposed an unsure of himself at the prospect of spear-heading a meeting but it was something that needed to be done. It would be crucial to have the healers ready by winter. Chrys smiled, his tailed wagging as his mother arrived. "Not a problem, thank you for coming." He felt a bit silly at the idea of teaching his mother but he felt that in his years of study he might have something to offer her. Chrys waited for awhile longer but it seemed that Helena would be the only one to arrive. That was alright, they could do a one on one session then.
"Since it's just us I was thinking we could share our knowledge on herbs to be gathered in the fall and their uses." Chrys dug around in his pack and pulled out a few roots. "Are you familiar with these? I just gathered this abscess root this morning. And please, if you've anything to share go for it. I'm always eager to learn more!"
