She was determined to try and climb higher than she ever had before, but the task was far easier said than done. Her clumsy lack of athletic prowess put her behind the speedy growth and development of other pups her age, but she gave her best every time she tried to challenge herself. There was a certain joy brought to her whenever she was able to prove others wrong.
Sinclair had suggested that she could not get to the top of one towering erratic, so she had spent all morning working her way up to that goal. It was going well, with incremental improvements, and faint scratch marks against the stone surface to show for her work. In particular, there was one ledge that seemed just a bit beyond her reach; Dova knew that if she was able to get up onto it, she would be able to climb all the way up tp the top, or at least higher than she had already managed before.
It was possible that she might spend the rest of the unseasonably chilly afternoon flinging herself at the boulders. The determined look across her face, however, suggested that she was willing to commit to the day-long affair, whittling away the time as she enjoyed the carefree living while it lasted.

The hunger that consumed his insides made a growl escape his mouth, his teeth slipping from his black lips. The patter patter patter of his paws made him nervous, it sounded like a timer. Tick tick tick... Something pale caught eye as it flung its self from boulder to boulder. Eh, maybe its just a fox or a bird. But he looked over again and his eyes widen slightly. The steady patter moved to a thunderous run as the beast headed towards the creature. Koloskivi lunged forward onto a neighboring rock. "O Bozhe! Vhat are you doingk," he bellowed. " You vill get hurt!"
Koloskivi wouldn't be upset if the creature didn't understand him. After all, he did have a very strong accent. The beast lurched forward and jumped from the rock he was on to a rock closer to the creature. "Little lamb, get down from there. You could slip and you vill fall! Come, come vhere it is safe. Its safe on ground, yes?" He watched as the little creature flung its entire body as a rock. It was deffinetly not going to give up as easily as he hoped it would. "Ground, it is safe. Rocks, not safe."
