The coydog who comes to get HANNIBAL and ASHIEL is a fierce-looking ginger brindle who sweeps in with a frown to survey the pickings before indicating the two of them. He leads them to a circle of stones that mark a ring in the ground. "All right," he barks in a sharp tone. "Let's see what you idjits can do. Step out of the ring, you lose! Fail to impress me, you lose! Get a move on then! You get things started!" he adds with a gesture to HANNIBAL.

Hannibal stepped into the ring with cool and focused breaths. He listened to the Coydog's speech as he did time and time before. Blood could be seen against his fur but no significant wounds had been taken as of yet. The beast moved into his usual fighting stance. Muzzle pointed downward to protect his precious throat. Eyes narrowed to avoid any slashes or debris. Ears flattened against the curve of his skulls. Paws pressed against the ground with weight evenly distributed. Toes splayed to grip the earth below. Head lowered to align with his spine, as well as his two toned tail for balance. Lips curled upward to expose blood stained teeth and reddening gums. Overall, the male was ready to fight. "Let's get this over with." The Klein sprung into action with a dart forward. Paws dug into the earth as he attempted to charge head on at his opponent. Though, at the last moment before hoped impact the albino would duck down with his head and upper body aiming to shoot under Ashiel's chest and between her two front legs. Hannibal was 6 inches shorter and a bit smaller then his opponent. The move was an attempt at getting beneath his opponent and rendering her front two legs useless. Though, he would have to move quickly due to the weight difference between them. Hannibal may not be able to handle such for long, if the move was successful. The fights kept coming and Ashiel blinked back a headache that was starting to press against his temples. Blood matted his fur but the wounds he had were scabbing over nicely, for now at least. He knew if he pushed his movements to much the wounds would open again but it was a risk he'd take. He still wanted to do his best for the Abraxas family and that meant pressing on. He nodded sharply to his opponent. He couldn't agree more. He was ready to get this over with. He quickly set his defenses, making sure to pin his ears and tuck his tail as he prepared himself for the other male's first attack.

The smaller male charged right for him and as he started to duck, Ashiel dove his jaws downward seeking to counter the other male's attack. He didn't know where the man was headed but he didn't care to have those jaws to close to his softer underbelly, padded with fur though it was. Ashiel sought to catch the other man's head in his jaws, hoping for his upper teeth to land on the man's right temple and his lower teeth on the left. It would be a difficult surface to grab and he hoped the pain and blood from tearing the thinner skin would cause his opponent to recoil. In addition Ashiel lifted his right front limb and sought to throw it on top of Hannival's neck about midway so that he could throw his weight down on the other man and maybe pin him. As a precaution though he shifted his weight to his other three limbs in case he needed to make a quick change of course. Above him Griff circled the fight.

As Hannibal's bold assault was met with a quick counter. His charging and diving move was something new that he was just trying out due to the tournament, he deemed this a place for practice and flare. As Hannibal ducked down Ashiel's jaws crashed down upon the albino's cranium. Pressure and teeth penetrating sensitive flesh but the adrenaline allowed him to carry own. Surely, blood would flow through his pretty white fur soon enough. Though, as Ashiel pressed his front right paw upon Hannibal's neck he knew he would have to react quickly before being pressed into the ground. - To fight the weight coming down from above Hannibal pushed upward with all four paws, perhaps since he was grounded and pushing upward with his strength it would be enough to remained un-pinned. Meanwhile, Hannibal would attempt a slightly more risky move by lurching his head forward and up slightly, aiming to land a bite where Ashiel's inner front right leg and the chest would meet. The albino's head would twist to Hannibal's left in order to aim his upper fangs at Ash's inner leg and the lower fangs at Ashiel's lower chest region. The proposed attack would be an attempt to get that pesky limb out of play or at least draw some blood. But in order to avoid too much damage to Hannibal's head he would flatten his ears, narrow eyes, and of course curl back lips into a protective snarl. Blood greeted his jaws letting Ashiel know his bite was successful but as he feared the surface was difficult to grip and teeth shredded flesh as Hannibal pushed forward. Even though his right arm had landed he was not in a good enough position for his weight to matter and as he felt the other man push forward he quickly dropped his right arm to the ground. Ashiel's limbs coiled as he sought to ground himself as much as he could and bring his chest down upon Hannibal to stop the man's forward push to get under him.

From his grip on the man's head though he did not see the other's jaws were already open in a bite. There was no where to go, his movement had displaced Hannibal's original target but there was no escaping the jaws that dug deep into the flesh on the right side of his chest obtaining a solid grip. Ashiel kept his defenses up, aiming another downward bite, this time for Hannibal's eyes.

The two males fought well but in the end the Coydogs announced Ashiel as the victor. Blood tainted the pristine pale fur of the albino as he backed away from his opponent. Hannibal was merely happy to have won a few fights in the tourney and was not disheartened by the defeated. Pale eyes flicked to Ashiel's as his gruff and breathless tones filled the air. "Good fighting." The beast rolled his shoulders and wrinkled his nose at the spikes of pain. With a quick shake of his head the male called out again, "I am Hannibal Klein, by the way." With that, the pale ghoul slipped away with a sneer in response to constant throbs of pain overwhelming his form. -exit hannibal- Speech

Locked in battle Ashiel found himself able to live more in the present and it was a feeling that he relished. It helped that this man was clearly a skilled a moment, serving to keep Ashiel on his toes. When at last the fighting was over he was declared the victor. Panting he took a step back to give his opponent some room and to catch his breath. He nodded swiftly at the man's words. "Indeed, you are very skilled Hannibal Klein. My name is Ashiel Abraxas." He felt it only fair to return his name for the man's. As the other slipped away so to did Ashiel. He would need more time to rest before the next match as his wounds were already weighing on him.
