her leash was further extended as she behaved herself in Jupiter's presence earlier. the blue man was always watching - she was aware of that even if she couldn't see his eyes - but he had given her leave to enter events and participate in the feastings too. all she saw were a bunch of big, scary wolves with the woman leading the festival. someone said it was a 'fighting tournament'. and Niamh, too scared to raise her paw to another let alone be pawed at... well, she opted out of that. moving a few paces forward, she'd keep her head down and her eyes alert. the girl wasn't sure if she wanted to be spotted or not. she stood out rather well compared to some of the others' dark coats. it was evening though, so she was safe from the sun's rays. autumn tamed the sun somewhat anyway. it wasn't as bright or debilitating. but she still moved easily enough, hoping to spot someone alone. she couldn't focus on the blurry faces all these people faced her with. they looked like monsters to her but spoke nicely. civilized. she had to keep reminding herself of that. they were not monsters. they were wolves like her. maybe she had a blurry face too. who knew? ooc; niamh is here with jupiter but is allowed to socialize and make spin-off threads. like this one! just be aware he may be watching. feel free to approach her! |
niamh is selectively mute and does not talk; not even to give her name. as such people are free to make up names for her or assume one

Niamh shifted uneasily, being away from Jupiter and anyone she actually knew. so when a stranger approached her so boldly, she ducked her head at first and didn't meet his eyes. he was much smaller than her but it didn't matter in the end. anyone could easily push her over, size didn't matter, and maintain dominance over her. but his tone was friendly enough. it caused an ear to pique forward in curiosity. lots of wolves... more wolves than she had ever seen in her very short life. the young woman nodded to him, focusing on his blurry face. the only acknowledgment he had for her was the small wings on his back. he was one of the people to approach the host of the party. asking the pale woman questions. Niamh had seen from a distance. she had seen lots of things. but she never spoke properly to anyone. feeling her face grow hot at the realization it might be a one-sided conversation and the male may just leave her in frustration... she tried to scribble in the dirt before her, not knowing some wolves couldn't read. 'hello' it said. 'am Niamh. lots of wolves, yes. many wolves. too many wolves. need a breather.' |
