So with the new specialties out, I've found the perfect one for Canni would be professor. It is a specialty that allows an Intellect Master to teach any skill and those participating in the lessons receive double skill points for it. That would be 10 points for a one on one lesson and 30 points for a 3+ wolf lesson. This works perfectly with her backstory of coming to Ardent to try to learn about the wolves and immerse herself in their culture when she turned her back on her own species.

So I've wanted to have Canni run a mini-pack since I created her, but without much direction to how it would be. Now I'm getting excited about a pack idea that would function almost like a college of sorts for the many wolves in Ardent.

The general idea would be that this pack would be allied to all (or near all) for the sake of educating the next generations. Wolves can drop off their yearlings or apprentices or whatnot to attend for some period of time (a season?) and in their time there would be schooled regularly on whatever discipline they'd need. (fighting/hunting/healing/etc)

There could be festivals and events as well, things like having the students do the organizing of a festival and then inviting their families to it. Or perhaps even guest-speakers (ie: bring in an Abraxas to teach on that culture, bring in an alpha to speak of diplomacy and such, etc).

I think this idea could be super fleshed out to make it a very different kind of pack, something I don't think Ardent has done before. I'm a shy-ass person though, so I can't get over that worry that the community would not go for the idea, and in that case I'll just revert to my plan of having Canni lead a normal mini-pack/multi-species pack.

well I'd love my band to ally with Cannival and this idea! I need to check who I can throw at it, but for now alliances and more alliances! the Wayfarers can help when they are established! but I'll consider even throwing Godbrand, Whittaker, and Siobhan (my pups) at it for skill points though ;D

I think Dunkan would love to be part of this pack! He loves to learn about everything he cans.

I have Adonis who is a big kid lover and gentle hearted with younger kids and would potentially join a pack if everyone was seen as equal if that interests canni
