The Troubled Air That Rages [VOLCANO]
Aching muscles prompted tense dreams. Chrysanthos shifted and fidgeted in his den until violent shaking startled him awake. At first he wasn't sure what was happening. For a brief moment part of him thought this was part of his dream, but as the earth started to collapse around him he sprang out of his den. Bolla followed quickly at his heels. "Chrys, what is happening!?"
He tipped his head to northeast where the mountain tops glowed and sparks flew from the mouth of Mount Volkan. His heart started to pound in his chest and he started to curse himself. That day at the Hot Springs, when the water had seemed far hotter than it should've been. When the tremors were felt the day he was making tisane. Fool! Pitiful Fool! Why had he not said anything sooner? Why had he set it aside as just the usual rumbles of a sleeping giant and not the threat that now loomed over him. Desperate for his family and his pack he let out a fearful call.
slowly but surely he was moving away from Olympia. whatever Pegasus's answer had been in autumn, Thaddeus's season was up. he didn't need to remain here to repay his debt any longer. Olympia had done its part, and now he was forced to go out into the world alone. but fate had a funny way of pulling you back, didn't it? he had made a makeshift den outside of the pack's boundaries before the dooming big bang boom happened. startled, he'd rush outside to be met with a black sky. there was no words to describe how he felt at this moment. perhaps scared shitless was a good follow-up though. without thinking, he rushed back to the shrine. arriving just as Chrysanthos exited his own den in a panic. spotting the only friendly face in the pack, the mutt rushed over to him. "what's goin' on?!" he gasped, sucking in air. they probably expected him to leave but here he was anyway. his piss colored eyes stared at the massive frame of the volcano above them, not understanding the words eruption and disaster for all. Thad continued his heaving chest, dragging his face away to stare at the healer. he wanted to say 'let me help' but the fact was he may be chased away for even being here.

Chyrsanthos stood transfixed as he watched the dark smoke billow into the sky. He couldn't believe this was happening. They'd barely gotten settled into a new land and now disaster was striking. All the while he couldn't help but feel he'd let his packa nd his family down. Chrys whipped his head around to see Thaddeus. He was glad to see the other man but also a bit exasperated. They'd talked about pack boundaries and the importance of calling before one was crossed but he supposed he could make an exception in the middle of a disaster. Best to say he just ran into Thaddeus at the border.
"The volcano's erupting! It's far too close to us, we'll need to evacuate." The question was where. He heard Pegasus call out. "My brother's calling a meeting. Come on, let's get moving!" There was too much else going on to fuss over Thaddeus' status and whether or not he, as a loner, should even be at the meeting. Chrysanthos just wanted to get to his family and get everyone safe.
