Revelation 4:2

Archon was brought into consciousness from his slumber. The world around him had not yet taken shape, and yet, he could feel the presence of others. His form came to be, although it was his interpretation of how it should be: vast and glorious. Wind rippled through his coat, pulling the very color from it as if he had been painted in watercolor. His eyes saw far and wide, yet nothing had come to manifest yet. He was waiting for those who summoned him. Mortals, he figured. He was no mere mortal in this plane or at least his interpretation of it. He stood, his heart burning in desire to see who had brought him into this mortal consciousness.

When Toxicity awoke from her medicinal slumber, she was no longer in the sigil circle with Obi and her family. She didn't know this place but everything felt and sounded... muffled. It was like she underwater or that her senses had all been cloaked in ash just as the lands around them had been. Toxicity looked around, but none of her surroundings registered. Her whole body felt windswept. It was jumbles of light and dark and it was almost too much for her young mind to handle.
"Toxicity," a deep and familiar voice called. Tox looked up and was able to make out a dark figure in front of her. "Focus yourself, Toxicity." The voice came in clearer this time. It was Archon. Toxicity heeded his words, trying to wrap her mind around the perplexing situation. Eventually, her father's shape became more clear to her, and hers to him.
"Father," Toxicity nearly pleaded. "You... died."

She heard the deep voice before her eyes opened, that familiar sound that easily washed away all of the sadness she felt about his loss. There was a smile on her features as Venom’s bright eyes fluttered open into the abyss. She shook the effects of the medicine from her, and with another few blinks the scenery came into view. For her, they were at the palace in the ravine. Archon stood, as tall and strong as he had ever been.
Venom couldn’t summon the tears she knew wanted to fall, and the stuffed up feeling of unshed tears began to fill her sinuses. She couldn’t focus on herself though, and vibrant lilac and rose gaze wouldn’t be torn from Archon’s form. ”Dad,” she said softly, only just managing to keep herself from throwing her small form at his own.

Calamity appeared later than the rest of her siblings. By the time her spiritual form roused, Venom and Toxicity had already flocked to her father's side. She groaned in her half-slumber, her soul slowly pulling itself together on this different plane. When she finally stumbled to her feet, Cala felt strange. Like she was half of herself. The familiar sight of Venom and Toxicity encouraged her, and then... she saw her father. A mix of strange emotions caught in her throat.
She swallowed over and over, trying to make sense of the picture before her. What was this dark magic? Was this the power of Toxicity's - and her family's - religion? Wow. Calamity was stunned speechless. It was incredible. Gulping and finally clearing her throat, she strode on shaking legs over to where her family had gathered. "What is this place?" she asked quietly, her voice muffled as she pressed her muzzle into Archon's fur. All of her hairs stood on end as she finally made contact with her father. Her jealousy and selfishness and disbelief all haunted her; it was an agonizing feeling, the shame was so intense that manifested as a physical pain.
She had been so wrong to disbelieve her sister and question their sacred beliefs. Here was proof - even if it was not living proof - that they were godlings among mortals. They could transgress planes that other wolves only dreamed of. "I was so wrong... so foolish, so stupid," she whispered, tears flowing freely down her face. Calamity swore a private oath to herself that she would never again be a selfish nonbeliever. She would smite anyone who questioned their faith and follow them to the next plane to prove their truth. Faith rose within her; she felt newly baptized by the sight of father and Obi's ceremony. "We are truly gods, aren't we?"

Archon pressed forward until he encompassed all of his children. They all meant so much to him and he wished desperately to convey that to them. Calamity spoke the most and Archon shushed her gently. "None of you are foolish. You are young."
Calamity asked for reassurance of their godhood. Archon simply nodded. "Even the strongest will have their doubts."
He looked beyond into the infinite expanse. They were unharmed, he was sure. Their presence felt soft as f it might be taken back at any moment. "Are you all asleep? We do not have much time..."
He looked at each of his pups in turn, "Next time, bring the others too, if they will let you." He wished to share this moment with all of them, and with the others he loved in life.
"While we have this time, what should we do?"

Toxicity wanted to cling onto her father and never let go. She wanted to stay with him forever if she could. She felt like she still had so much to learn from him and so much to talk about. But here they were, limited on time and as her father asked what they should do, her mind was blank. What SHOULD they do? Tox looked around to her siblings. She wasn't sure they'd want to hear another sermon in their limited time. She did. She always did. Anything that would bring her closer to God and closer to her father she would do willingly. "Um... I... Don't know."

Venom was mostly silent as the dream continued, she listened as her sisters spoke but focused much more intently on her father when she heard his voice again. Being able to gaze upon him, even here in the half shadow of a dream comforted the young child. Archon asked what they might do. What did you do with the apparition of your dead father?
”What is this place?” She stepped forth, the question curious. ”Will we join you here when we die?” Venom asked boldly. ”Do only followers of the fallen god come here, or are there others?” Was this really the afterlife? Were there any feats needed to reside here after death? Was there anything else?
