Toxicity wasn't sure where she fit into the grand scheme of things here. She didn't feel like a kid, but she knew she wasn't an adult. She didn't feel close to anyone and that kind of bothered her, but she didn't feel compelled to talk to anyone either. Tox wasn't sure what she really wanted. She spent time in her studies of religion and that was about it. It felt meaningless and endless and Toxicity was sure there was something... more to all of this, but she wasn't sure what. Obi had said it was something she needed to find on her own. She had looked and searched deeper, but found nothing. She decided there was one place she could always turn to when her mind was muddled: her mother's arms. Her mother had been busy as always and they hand't really spoken since the night of the nightmares, but somehow, Tox knew her mother wouldn't turn her away. But she didn't want to seem needy either. Toxicity worked to track her mother, but then simply waited for her mother to notice her and knowledge her rather than calling out to her like she so badly wanted to do. She busied herself by looking into the endless expanse of grey ad the pieces drifted quietly down to the surface below.

Deathbelle was indeed very busy as always. Forever there was something for her to keep her attention on. Not that she complained about that fact, when she stopped the sorrow started to take over again. She was searching for herbs today, though the rocks were already picked nearly dry. She had made an attempt to preserve a bit of their live stores that lived in the rocks. She was checking on them when she noticed another presence.
The Empress looked around, mismatched ears perked as lilac eyes looked around. She didn’t see her daughter at first, but her scent wasn’t masked. She hadn’t seen nearly enough of Toxicity since the two of them had discussed their nightmares. Of course when she slept in the den she was right beside the young girl. Of course they didn’t speak much when they were sleeping. ”Toxicity?” She asked after her softly, unsure if her daughter would appear.

Deathbelle's soft voice reached reached Toxicity's ears and they pivoted in her direction. The young girl held herself back a moment longer before relinquishing herself to join by her mother's side.
"Yes?" she said as if simply responding to her mother's inquiry. "How are you doing today?"
Toxicity leaned up on her toes to talk to her mother, a soft- although somewhat forced- smile on her dainty maw. Maybe her mother would play along. Maybe, just for a few moments they could pretend to be normal and have a regular conversation instead of the fragmented pieces they so often felt like.

Tox didn’t disregard her, and her subdued features were offered in return to her mother’s call. Mismatched ears perked as she smiled softly at her sweet daughter. She’d been forced to endure so much it was truly a tragedy what her children had been forced to endure. Deathbelle only wished she could do more for them.
”My dearest,” she greeted in return offering her affections to her daughter. Hoping to create a genuine smile on Toxicity’s features. ”Today is a good day.” she returned genuinely. Her recovery from the loss of Archon was budding. She had Io to thank, now that she was stronger she would be able to be a pillar for her young ones. Deathbelle could uphold them and show them the path they were meant to take. Even if Archon could no longer watch over them in the physical plain.
”How are you, young one?” She returned softly, knowing that she struggled so heavily. She nudged Tox’s cheek lovingly, hoping that after their talk her nightmares might have relented as much as her own.
