ashen/ashen armada healer training

Pregnancy did look good on her. Lucretia wasn't a vain wolf by any means - in fact, her appearance often fell by the wayside during these busy seasons of herb collecting - but with Bourbon's careful attention and her serious food cravings, she had filled out nicely. Her fur had a particular luster to it that was different than its typical coarse, dull texture. It was thanks in part to the intense cravings she'd had for fish. The oils were good for you, that she knew, but she wasn't as aware of these secondary benefits. Quite simply, she was feeling a little bit full of herself.
Channeling her inner Deathbelle, Luce relished the additional attention she received from her mate. He was more doting than ever and she lapped up his affection like an underwatered flower. Going along with her strikingly good mood and newfound generous disposition, Luce thought it would be beneficial for everyone to arrange a joint training between the empire's packs. Iolaire had readily agreed - the shamyn was pleased to find that the Armada's healer had been considering a similar event. It seemed they had more in common than she'd thought.
"Alright, I've brought some common herbs from my atelier to go over. Some are from last season, but perhaps we can use them as examples to gather more, fresher materials," Luce began. A rare excitement colored her voice. The typically sour, paranoid Klein was utterly pleasant to be around. Feverfew, Luce's albino raccoon, had tagged along. The chubby woodland creature was lingering in the nearby shade provided by some long grasses. Summertime meant sunburns and uncomfortable heat, but Few had been needed to help transport some of the herbs. She peered out over the clearing with perpetually displeased, beady eyes. Lucretia looked to Iolaire, her tail wagging slowly and surely. "Where should we begin?"

"Heya, Luce." Iolaire had become much more comfortable with the Ashen healer after befriending Bourbon. The dog had shared a bit of insight behind the machinations of the woman and the Armada healer felt that she understood her quite a bit more than she had before. She was on odd one, but not without reason. And now that she was round and pregnant, she had this very endearing aura around her. "You're looking lovely," She complemented the swollen dame.
The pair had agreed to hold a multi-pack healing class. It was something that Iolaire had been planning for her own pack, but two healers would offer a wider array of knowledge. Depending on who came, it could be a lot of fun or it could be a complete disaster.
Lucretia informed Iolaire that she had brought several things and the smaller woman nodded. She made a face and gestured to the small cart hooked up to her dwarf reindeer, Ila. "I may have gone overboard. I brought a little bit of a lot of things." She'd brought herbs, poisons, broken bones to show examples, different types of containers and so much more.
When Luce asked where they should begin, Io grinned. "Role call. Let's see who felt the need to learn. We can start with basic herbs and first aid, then open the class for questions. What do you think?" Obsidian ears perked and she waited for the pregnant fae's input.

Io has a dwarf caribou companion and a snow leopard companion. Assume they aren't with her unless stated otherwise.

Bourbon was proud to say that his mate was looking better than he’d ever seen her after they’d committed themselves to one another. She was pregnant with his puppies, and if it was even possible the dog was taking better care of his mistress. He’d never have thought that he would have fallen so hard for the wolfess, but he loved her and seeing her happy. She was his whole world and he was determined to keep her well cared for.
The dog followed after Lucretia loyally, his long furred tail wagging lazily behind him as she settled herself down. He smiled softly at her as she settled herself and spoke to the second healer. He wagged his tail as Iolaire noticed how good Lucretia looked with her belly full of puppies. He was so proud of her and everything the two of them accomplished.
Bourbon had no intention of being a teacher in this lesson so he remained quiet, but offered Iolaire one of his classic happy smiles. His tail didn’t stop wagging and he wouldn’t be parted from his dear mate.

Oh dear she is late! Time had gotten away from her and, when she started for the lesson on healing, well it was way past when she had told herself she would set out. Paws move hurriedly along a path that had been explained to her in great detail. Okay, turn here and there is the tree! Another turn and walk, walk, walk. There it is! The clearing! Relief washes over her as she moves forward, looking for a seat close to front but not too near to be considered rude. Besides, she doesn’t want to embarrass Iolaire too much in front of the others.
That, however, does not keep the woman from trying to catch her niece’s eye and making herself known to the small healer. Lots of wiggling and wagging accompany the woman as she makes it to her self-appointed seat. A smile rests easily on her lips as she sits down and readies herself to absorb information and learn new techniques. Quickly shuffling through the filing cabinets of her mind, Meadow organizes her thoughts so that she is ready to take in the maximum amount of information in one sitting.
The question, ‘Wait, did I need to know that name?’ passes across her mind as something that must not have been too important is deleted from her memory banks. Time to learn!

Pestilence did not want to attend a healing course that was focused around healthcare and herbs, though she'd been told that if she wanted to learn the glorious and hilarious things herbs might be used for, she had to know their other side effects and how to treat it as well. She supposed once she was a powerful warlord she'd need to occasionally repair an injury - even though the strongest never got hurt - and so she chose to appear and simply doubted she'd actively participate.
There was a wolf she'd never met here, and so instead she moved closer to her aunt Lucretia's side. Iolaire she knew, but Pestilence wasn't sure if she'd heard of Sirius' butt mayhem and whether or not she blamed the pup for what she did with the healers knowledge.
