Zee was always the type for adventure, seeking out new places to explore and things to see. Sirius at one point - actually, three points - in time had promised her a honeymoon visiting these islands. Eventually life and nature kept kicking her plans in the ass and the frustrated queen decided she didn't want to wait anymore. Scaled Island had drew her eye back when she lived in the west before finding Ashen's Empire. From a distance it looked almost like a scaley beast submerged partially under the water. Of course it couldn't be, it stuck around at the edge of the world all through her meeting of Deathbelle, her growth to queen, and would likely be there long after Zee was dead. The swim was not difficult but not easy either, and on her way to the island she decided she was grateful to have not brought the titan. Sirius couldn't swim, this island honeymoon was a terrible idea. She'd make him take her somewhere prettier, easier. Maybe to see every waterfall in Boreas, instead. As she came up on the scale-like shore she realized it wasn't keratin at all but simply rock and mud. On closer inspection there were even gnarled trees and a few sparse plants. It was barren, but beautiful in it's own right. She wasn't sure how much more there'd be to see here, but regardless Zee stepped forward to move deeper onto the island. "Speech"

Unsurprisingly Noir had yet to find a place to settle. He’d more than enjoyed his run in with the beautiful recluse, but he’d had such a good time bothering Alarr. Joining his family’s pack was tempting especially when you weren’t a very good hunter. He managed somehow, scavenging mostly. That and avoiding places like this.

Scaled island was much like the rest of the deserty west. There wasn’t much vegetation and what food you could find was just as tough as the desert itself. He’d swam over earlier in the day and spend the morning sun bathing to dry his dark blue marked coat. He was lounging on a particularly high scale when the scent of the woman reached him.

Vibrant blue and lavender eyes found her own green blue marked boyd as she surged forward. It seemed she was doing the same as he. Exploring, hoping to find something of interest on the dry piece of land. There was water everywhere but not a lick to drink.

”Hope you aren’t looking for water.” He called out as he rolled his huge body to get a better look at her.

The voice called out to her and Zee nearly flinched in surprise. It was unexpected to find another soul in a place as barren as this, and the small queen didn't like being caught off guard. His size was the first thing she noticed - the boy was huge, and by the size of his paws still growing. Zee parted her jaws and then shut them, trying to pull from her history of being social to at least try and be friendly... although alone on an island in the face of another titan it was hard, even if he was younger then her.

"Luckily I passed by a few thousand gallons on my way here." She responded with a polite smile, lifting her horned head to look into his multi-colored eyes. "I'm here to see the world, this place looked interesting enough. Less so when you get closer, however." It was slightly disappointing to find that the island was not in fact made of scales. It somehow seemed even more barren then the redwater rocks they used to live in, and perhaps it's greatest beauty was the clear blue sea that surrounded it on all sides. It seemed as if the island sloped upwards the further in you moved, Zee stepped cautiously towards the slope as if she might be inclined to explore further.

She flinched, that was something. One didn’t often look up in case of danger, especially when the most dangerous things were usually on the ground. From what Noir had seen, he was likely the most dangerous creature on the whole island. He had managed to spot quite a few reptile species. They seemed to flock to the land of scales in an odd way. Much like he was drawn here the woman wanted to see the world, but she wasn’t impressed.

Noir lifted himself to his huge paws and carefully made his way down the jutting scale. The ground was dry but it held his paws like sandpaper as he descended to her level. ”Rocks, dead trees, maybe a lizard.” He commented as he put on his best friendly face. If he’d learned one thing it was you drew more flies with honey than vinegar. ”It doesn’t seem like anyone important has been here for years.”

He stepped closer to her, and Zee did her best to remain relaxed. Something about being elevated to her position made her more distrustful of strangers, more expectant of trouble. The boy didn't seem to give off any air that he might hurt her, though she still did her best to remain prepared. Her eyes left him to scout across the scales, seeing nothing more past the mud stone and odd flora. "I heard crocodiles live here." She said after a moment, her gaze coming back to him once more. A part of her wanted to express that he didn't scare her - that she could fight him if she needed to, and win. "Thought it might be good for some fun." While she wasn't actually disappointed with the lack of dangerous lizards, she did her best to let it fill her voice. This trip was becoming a massive waste of time, and the muddy rock was grabby and spoiling her paws. Was there really nothing worth seeing on this barren island?

Other than her flinch the horned woman gave off the vibe that she wasn’t afraid of him. He wasn’t the only titan in Boreas, and at the moment he had no desire to be threatening. She had nothing that he wanted, and there was no one else here to contend for her attention. ”Do they?” He asked incredulously. Surely they had to be the saltwater kind, he could barely imagine the huge beasts living on the scales of the island. He made to walk ahead a little further, curious if he might see one of the fabled beasts. He heard their skin made great armor. Still, he wasn’t very likely to make good armor on this desolate island. There was barely any shade, and if it wasn’t sandy the ground was mud. It wasn’t pleasant. ”Have you ever fought one?” She was so tiny, he had to doubt she’d made the attempt.
