Wash away my worries

Ever since her son nearly found himself over a cliff, Zee had felt nothing but stress. On top of watching her other kids - who aside from Indigo were appearing to grow into tiny ravenous bloodletters - and checking in with Iolaire over his recovery, she felt she hadn't a moment to herself in the whole season. A part of her knew it was simply how a mother's life changed once they had children, but was it always so drastic and hard?
After enough quiet deliberation she tipped her head back and howled for her husband. It was not a commanding nor anxious call, for Zee was only lonely and missed his presence. The two of them had much too little time together since the young ones were born. Perhaps they could find something to do to help her relax and get out of her funk. As she waited for his arrival, she stepped out off the sand into the shallow waters and let herself feel the cool cleansing touch of the ocean.

Between teaching his children and running the pack, the Warlord felt his days trickling through his paws faster then he could keep tabs on them. His little ones were growing, and he wasnt sure he liked that, even if he did want them to reach a point they could defend themselves from anything.
He was watching the borders nead the sea when Zee called for him. He raised his head, tilting it just lightly to the side and smiling at the warm, familiar sound of his love.
He let the sound wash over him a moment longer, before turning and running in the direction of her call. It was not a long run, they had both made their way to the same terratory, and it was easy to spot her light shape on the sand as he got closer. He stopped directly before her, lowering his head to her smaller form and offering her a wordless greeting, and affectionate nuzzle.

His greeting was welcome, and Zee let herself sink into his embrace. She tried to will her worries away, to throw the anxieties that weighed every inch of her down but barely felt lighter even in Sirius' presence. "Thanks for coming." She told him genuinely, enjoying the nuzzle and lengthening it for a moment longer. With a soft sigh she eventually pulled away to look back into the water. "I thought we could take some time, just us." Suddenly she realized exactly how the titan might take her words, and her eyes narrowed preemptively. "Not that." Her clarification came quickly, and she lifted a paw to point threateningly at him. "Fancy a swim? Or some fishing? Or, I don't know, a contest on who can make the biggest splash. "Something?" Her playful glare became a hopeful smile, and she dipped into a play-bow and wiggled her rear and tail.

His grin grew broader at her suggestion, and he sidled a little closer, never one to turn down an invitation. Especially is Zee was instigating it, which was rare enough to turn him on in an instant. He let out a slow sigh when she raised a paw as through to ward him off and edited her words. Her suggestion of a swim was like cold water in his veins, and calmed his urges in a heartbeat. Now it was his turn to narrow his eyes at his wife.
He wanted swimming lessons, he had even bargained for them with her a life time ago, but there was always something going on. It was easy to delay then indefinitely. It seemed Zee was ready to take matters into her own paws. Another sigh. He hopeful, tail wagging expression wasnt something he could ignore. "In the shallow stream before our house?" He offered hopefully. That barely covered his toes. No scary swimming required there.
