Mouths to feed

With the addition of their newest member Tamsyn, Zee realized how few true hunters they had among them. Sirius of course was skilled enough to provide, but as Zee gave the broad introduction of the Armada to the new woman and how she'd be required to learn combat, she realized she herself was being hypocritical. If the healers must learn to fight, why would the fighters not have to learn to heal or hunt or navigate? The Armada had enough herb-knowing wolves however so Zee did not feel badly for lacking in that area. Hunting however was a skill every wolf should learn - Queen or not.

She approached the den, popping her head in and giving her husband a smile. "Hey, mind if I come along with you on your hunt?" The horned Queen asked of him. Sirius was not the kind to tell her no, so she doubted she'd need to prod much further. Besides, the two of them together could find a larger prey animal to take down and feed more mouths at once.
