Dómari was feeling better after the walk to the Battlefield. The exercise was working some of the tension and anxiety out of his system and now that he was here he wanted to get in a good fight for practice. He'd be as ready for the raid as he could be and comfort himself in the knowledge that this one wasn't going to be a surprise for Valhalla. This one wouldn't be as bloody. Dómari glanced at his pair of fox companions and seeing that they were ready he lifted his head and called for an opponent. He shook himself out, seeking to limber up as he waited. He had impressed Aurielle in their spar by actually winning but part of him wondered if it was dumb luck more than actual skill. He needed to know for sure what he was made of and re-build his confidence.

It had been a while since he'd been able to satisfy his need for his addiction. Eraithus already felt woozy from it, this was the reason why he had picked up so many fights at home. Even just a little bit, just a tiny bit, was enough to make it better. It couldn't be prey, it couldn't be anything else other than a wolf like himself. So he had heard about the battlefield, he was happy to have ended up in a land that enjoyed fighting. It seemed sparring was a regular occurence and he was ready for it. The oddly colored blue male walked up upon another male who seemed to have two foxes with him. Strange - first mutations and now companions of the sort not that he hadn't seen what was with Aurielle. At least this male didn't sprout fangs.

"Hello!" he grinned kindly standing in front of the other male. "My name is Eraithus. I hear this is the place you look for a spar? I am new to Boreas and so I'm in need of some training." he simply explained. Don't hurt him too hard is what he told himself. This was just a friendly spar right? Some knicks should satisfy his need and he knew he could be a viscious fighter compared to his temperment but he would need to keep it contained. Besides... this male smelled like Aurielle so he was a part of her pack he knew that. If she found out he hurt one of her own he could only think of disaster ahead of him.

Dómar's call was soon answered by a man of similar size. The stranger introduced himself and Dómari smiled and answered back. "Nice to meet you Eraithus, I'm Dómari. You've come to the right place for a spar." He had a feeling this would be a good match and probably a bit challenging against the younger male but Dómari was in good shape for his age and he felt he'd make a challenging opponent for the new wolf. Either way, the fight would be a learning experience for both.

Dómari set his defenses and waited for his opponent to do the same. This was a spar after all so he didn't feel the need to pounce on the other man unawares. When he was ready Dómari sprang forward, slipping a little bit to his right he sought to throw his left shoulder forward into his opponents chest where the chest met Erai's left shoulder. At the same time Dómari flung his head to his left seeking to grab hold of the left side of Erai's face with his upper fangs above the man's eye and his lower fangs hooking under the man's left-sided jaw.

It was clear that Eraithus was a bit rusty. Though Domari gave him plenty of time to prepare, it was a kind gesture and Eraithus was happy for that. Otherwise it was likely he would have been taken by severe surprise. The wolves here wasted no time though and he enjoyed that. Making his body rigid - this male was stronger than him and more experienced from the looks of it but Eraithus really was not concerned with these details. Domari jutted his left shoulder to collide with Eraithus chest where his left front limb connected. Lowering his stance Eraithus attempted to bend his knee's, straightening his tail out for more balance as his hackles raised. Excitement began inside of him. As the opponents attack hit him he took the chance to see if he could get them in close combat. Slight bruising would occur there and it was then that Domari would aim towards Eraithus face.

Wanting to protect his eye however he tucked his head in trying to avoid the opponents jaws from damaging the left side of his face. Eraithus folded his ears against his skull as his oppoonents teeth grabbed hold of his left ear. The wound on the left side of his face bled softly as skin tore and with that he was distracted. The young male quickly made an attempt to quickly grab Domari's front left limb at the shoulder, aiming his upper jaw back towards the elbow and his lower just towards the center of the left limb. Eraithus simultainously attempted to quickly raise his left leg and slam it into Domari's left paw.

Dómari crashed into his opponent and he felt a jolt of adrenaline as they connected. He could feel pain in his own shoulder from the collision. His jaws struck his opponent though not quite where he'd intended, instead grabbing hold of Erai's left ear. Still, grateful for a hold Dómari latched on tight. He quickly shifted his weight to his hind legs seeking to wrap his arms around the base of Erai's neck so that he might keep a better over all hold on his opponent. In doing so Erai's attempt to slam his paw missed but Dómari had unwittingly brought his arm in easier reach for Erai whose fangs latched tight onto his left shoulder. Dómari hissed at the pain but did his best to keep hold of Erai's ear, attempting to work his jaws lower to get more of the flesh on his opponents head.

Eraithus was not upset over his paw missing, as Domari crawled up onto his shoulders almost in a hug. It was his jaws latching onto the arm of his opponent that got him. What he finally wanted flowed into his mouth - it wasn't much as the severity of this spar was not intending to cause lasting damage. It might have been a bit strange but Eraithus deliborately brough his tongue up to lick the wound he had created. Domari's blood tasted sweet and it made him shiver slightly but that could have been chalked up to the fact that the heavier male had his arms latched around his shoulders. Domari strengthened his grip on Eraithus' ear, moving closer to the top of his head and because of their position it was unable to be avoided. The wound extended to the top of his left eye, dripping the blood from the thin flesh there as it made him close his left eye.

Eraithus let go of Domari's left shoulder, now that Domari was stood up on his back legs he tried something else. Attempting to snap his jaws up just behind the left elbow of his opponent his upper jaw aiming towards the higher ribcage and his lower jaw towards the underside of the left side of Domari. The skin here was thin no? He was hoping he'd get more blood but Eraithus had been satisfied with what he got.

Eraithus was no match really, he was rusty or rather inexperienced in the ways of the Boreas wolves. He let go, he backed down and lowered his head panting trying to catch his breath. It didn't matter that he had lost, with his teeth dripping with blood he was able to lick the last remaining drops. He almost let it get to him, swallowing as he stood up straight and smiled. Eraithus who had been growling, attacking, just moments before was now refined and smiling away. "You boreas wolves are strong, you said your name was Domari?" his tail wagged because he was genuinely happy.

"Thank you for the spar with me, you truly are a strong warrior and I hope to become that way one day. I hope that we could actually do this again sometime." he meant that. The taste of Domari's blood was actually really nice - he wouldn't say that of course. Eraithus best get back to his search for his siblings. "Adeiu I must continue the search for my siblings that are missing, plus it isn't safe for a loner like me to stick around the battlefield." he dipped his head and turned. Wondering if Domari would stop him, if not he'd be on his way.
