Brandr limped away from the raid but rather than going to where the healers would be camping he sought to head back home to his den near the bay. Corentine and Lucine were finally recovering from their illness and Brandr could think of no one better to treat his injuries than his lovely wife. It was slow going but he was determined. The would on his side over his ribs as well as the bite on the left side of his neck were both starting to bleed again but thankfully he didn't have much farther to go. He arrived at the entrance of his family den and called gently. "Corentine, I'm back from the raid. If you feel up to it do you think you could give me a hand with my injuries?" "Talk" "You" Think

Things had been a bit rough as of late. Her daughter's illness had taken quite a while to heal and then when she caught it she did her best to heal herself. While that process was going on her and Lucine had little contact with the pack or even Brandr because neither of them had wanted him to catch it. Corentine had even gone as far as to make a new tunnel within thier den, far back with another large open area that became Lucine's part of the den. They used this space for quarrentine, but once they were healed Lucine would have it for her own. Now though, she had determined both of them were healed enough to start getting back into the pack and interacting with others. They had not participated in the raid because their strength had not been 100%. Instead Corentine had worked to hep Lucine clean her part of the den, gave herself a much needed bath in the bay, then after that she returned to her own part of the den for the first time in what felt like it had been years. She laid down for a bit, but unable to sleep, her gold eyes watching and her ears listening for the return of Brandr. When his voice came from outside she perked up and her tail began to lightly thump against the ground. She was feeling great today and upon hearing he had injuries that needed a look at she quickly rose from her spot and exited the den to greet him at the entrance. Her gold eyes scanned him and quickly noticed the two bleeding wounds. She knew from a healer's standpoint that he would heal fine, but the wife part of her was worried. Her eyes looked back to his and she nodded with a soft smile. "Of course I'm up for it, give me a minute to get a few things," she replied before ducking back into the den. Quickly she gathered her supplies including an old bowl she found that she put fresh water soaked moss in. She had to make two trips in order to get everything to Brandr knowing she would have better light to care for him outside. "Speech"

Brandr smiled softly to himself as he heard the sounds of his wife working about in the den. He was so happy that she was feeling better that for a moment it stopped his pain dead in its tracks. "You'll be proud of your old husband. I defeated one of Winterfell's warriors. I tried for the alpha as well but uh…" He turned to show the lacerations along the sides of his ribs. In addition to that he had puncture wounds on the back of his neck just behind his left ear. "My chest is pretty bruised to. Crashed right into that warrior." Brandr sat down and took a deep breath.
