The next member he wished to speak with was Song. He knew the man had an infinity for crafting, and Ace had promoted him to Knight. The position was likely temporary. At least, until he was able to speak with the alabaster male to determine what position he would be interested in pursuing in the future. After speaking with Tsunami shortly after the meeting, he waited in the same place at the bottom of the ship in the snow, using the ship's frame as protection from the wind that was picking up. There was another thing on his mind he wanted to ask Song about besides his sought after rank...but he'd wait for the male to arrive before thinking on it further. For now, he'd take a deep breath to calm his mind before he started to overthink too much...

The snow in the north felt like home and Song reveled in the deep drifts and the frigid air. His massive frame and thick coat made living in this climate comfortable. He wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else in the world. Especially with Kirsi at his side. He often wore a smile and as he tidied up his workshop in the hull of the ship when he heard Acere’s call not so far off. Curious he lifted his alabaster form and waded through the pure snow to reach the alpha. He was sheltered by the ship and the odd cut of the wind had created a bowl to shield against the elements. Song admired the design for a moment before his attention shifted to Acere and his head tilted curiously. He didn’t feel as close to Acere as he had Ignatius, but nevertheless he was just as loyal to this alpha of the north as the last. ”Hello, Acere.” He greeted in deep tones as he seated himself comfortably.

Song didn't take long to arrive, and when the alabaster king saw him, he offered a nod of greeting to the other male. "Hello, Ser Song." He offered an easy smile to the male after speaking the man's newly appointed title since he had been promoted to Knight. Acere then let him settle before he dove right into what he called him here for. "First off, I would like to speak about your ambitions in Winterfell. I have a feeling your rank as Knight is only temporary, and I am curious which rank you'd like to further pursue, if any. I know you have an affinity for crafting, and as you know, you've been ranked as a Knight first since I had yet to speak with you about a different rank. One that perhaps reflects what your goals and ambitions are." These conversations with his members were long overdue of course. He had been busy tending to and raising his children alongside leading the pack and planning for raids among other things. "With that in mind, is there a rank in mind that you might have your eye on? There are many higher positions available, and I am giving priority to those who have fought and will fight in the raids. Between you and me, I feel it is long past time for the higher ranks to fill. And while I don't know you as well as I'd like, you fought bravely in the last raid, and would like to offer you the opportunity to rise up in the pack if you wish." Song he knew, was among a few of the hardworking members that he saw working often and working hard. And he wanted to grant those wolves the opportunity to rise up into the higher ranks.

Song wasn’t sure how much more responsibility he wanted from within Winterfell, maybe he was getting too comfortable. He liked having leisure time along with what duties he had, his crafting and making sure he took patrols. Having time to spend with Kirsi… ”I must confess I’m not particularly ambitious these days.” Song chuckled lightly. ”You are right I enjoy my crafting, but for my home I will do whatever is necessary.” Acere went on though, he wanted Song’s opinion on his rank to weigh more heavily and the tall icy warrior grew silent and contemplative for a long few moments. ”Your ‘lord of iron’ perhaps one day.” While he wasn’t so sure of where Acere’s opinion of him was he didn’t feel skilled enough to take that rank just yet. If Acere needed high ranking members though, he wouldn’t shirk his requirements to get there.
