Valdís took Úlfr even further today, intent on burning off some of his energy. She wasn't sure how safe it was to walk a 3-month old pup so far but her parents had pushed her in a similar way and she grew up fine. This time they journeyed to the southern region of The Orchard where the river cut through the land. Valdís found a nice inlet where the river curved in slightly and the water was shallow and more still. She bent her head to drink, eager for a break. The southern regions heated up quickly in the spring and if she had her way she'd just sleep through the noon hours. She glanced to Úlfr. "Don't go too far out into the water ok, I don't want you getting swept out." "Talk" "You" Think

Úlfr pranced alon after Valdís with a stick in his mouth. He drifted back and forth, sometimes bouncing forward to tag the water with his front paws then racing back inland. It was a gorgeous day. The sky was clear and blue and though it was hot the water was cool. They settled down near a small beach. Valdís bent her head for a drink and Úlfr bounded into the water. Something croaked and leapt into the water. Úlfr's ears flicked forward and peered into the water, trying to make out what it was. Eyes peeked back up at him. It was a frog! Oh, he wanted to catch it. Úlfr dove forward, jaws open, but all he got was a mouth full of water.

Night's path brought her to a new place,to a new location.So far she has been doing just fine with her travels despite the harsh welcome made by the big male she found a few days ago.A man who was infact scary and at the end he said goodbye in a hostile way,and her shoulder felt still a bit sore but bearable at least. Her patience won this time,but the warning the stranger gave her haunted her thoughts,and she couldn't imagine what he could have done to her if she didnt show resilience.Could he have killed her? Rape her? Or worst? But she was glad she was fine,at least in a physical way,her mind not that much. As she walked slender legs carried her through the land where rivers of all sizes invaded the green pastures.The air felt humid but nothing she would be afraid of. And there she approached one of the river's edge and would start drinking in complete silence , unaware of the two strangers not too far from her. "Speech"

Valdís shifted and fidgeted until she was comfortable and there she would rest, listing to the sounds of the insets and birds. It was cooler beneath the shade and she watched with amusement as the pup tried to catch a frog. Her eyes gazed down the riverbank, keeping a look out for crocodiles and other predators when she spied a small, dark wolf. Her hackles raised but she said nothing. The other wolf seemed to only be interested in a drink and Valdís trusted her training. She could move swiftly enough if there was danger. "Talk" "You" Think

Úlfr scampered back onto the shore, ducking down in the reeds and grasses as he waited for the frogs to return. One large bull frog popped his head out of the water and in that moment Úlfr swatted it with his paw. The blow stunned the frog but it must've swam away for when Úflr dried to bite the frog he got only water… again. Panting he settled in the reeds to regain his strength. He noticed Valdís was looking at something and so he poked his head out of the brush to see another wolf drinking down the bank. He bolted from the reeds and got about half way to Valdís before he stopped and looked back at the other wolf. Well, maybe since he had his new mom here it would be ok to say hi. "Hey! Do you want to catch frogs with me?" He knew Valdís wasn't interested but maybe the other wolf would be. "Speech"

She drank quick not wanting to stay too long in the place,a place wich silence was turning uncomfortable for the small wolf, silence often was a bad sign or at least for her. Anyone could be sneaking on her like the hostile male of before.And she was lucky the wolf didnt take her life,she was lucky to had escaped with just a sore shoulder,and she couldn't imagine what could happen next time.The threat ,te warning was still fresh in her memories and that made her feel in danger all the time,but despite the anxiety that was increasing within her chest her expression was blank, putting to use what she did best. Prettend she was fine ,pretend to don't care. And there as she drank her breathing was a bit fast and ears perked up in high alerts. But for her surprise, a small voice came up to the air. Slowly she turned her head to the side and there a pup stared at her. 'Oh boy...' She lifted her head and looked around,was their mother close? What if she attacked her? And at the distance, she saw a female that looked at her aswell. With her expression still blank she took a few steps back. "I..." Words drown on her mouth as she wasnt sure if she should run or do as the last time,wait for them to leave. "Speech"

Valdís stayed still, watching the other woman carefully. So far, so good. The other woman didn't seem that threatening, if anything she looked to be the most terrified of the three. Valdís laid back, her tail swishing lazily. She offered a nod of greeting to the stranger but didn't speak. She'd never been the most social wolf and she was uncertain how to start a conversation any way. The sounds of the river washed over her. It was a gentle sound that tempted her to sleep but she knew better. The frogs were still singing despite Úlfr's interruption. If Ásvor were there it would be tempting to have a little picnic. Úlfr's head tilted to the side as the woman tried to say something but it must not have come out right. He glanced back at his mom. Could this wolf speak? He looked back to her. Maybe she didn't know how to hunt frogs after all. "Don't worry, I'll show you! Watch this…" Úlfr slipped into the brush and settled down to wait, his legs coiled tightly beneath him. Now that someone was watching him he started to feel a bit nervous. Ok, he had to do this right. He couldn't screw this up. Úlfr watched as a large bull frog surfaced from the muck. The minute it had Úlfr dove his head down. His jaws clasped tightly around the slimy creature and he lifted his head triumphantly, with his eyes clenched shut. He'd hit the water hard and got water up his nose and it burned! Blinking slowly he padded farther inland and shook the water from his coat. He chewed a little on the frog to make sure it was good and dead before setting it at his feet. "You want to give it a try?" "Speech"
