Moonshine never tired of the ocean, her dainty little paws carried her through the warm water as she splashed and soaked herself. The tiny girl wore a huge grin on her face as she bound over sand and through water as though nothing could drag her down. Ivory tail wagged with excitement as happily as any puppy would. Despite her approach of yearlinghood he still held the sweet happy innocence of youth.

Soon realities of real life would wake her up to the world at large but it didn’t seem like anything would wipe the smile from her sweet features. She was a bright ray of sunshine especially compared to many of her name. The young girl took after her father in so many aspects it was easy to forget she held the regal blood of a Klein. The puppy continued to excitedly play in the water, barking at the fish on the occasion that she’d see them. Moonshine didn’t have a care in the world.

Asla found herself on the warm sands of the beach once more. She liked the feel of the toasty granules of rock between her toes. It was a good place to rest and think and, since they had free reign here, she was here often. There was a lot to think about. She was older. Hormones were kicking in. She found that she wanted kisses. Real kisses. Not the kind that she gave her dads cheek. She wanted something more too, but she didn't know what that something was.

Today as she curled up in the warm sand between two arching palms, a small form ran past. Asla instantly noticed the ears and her attention was caught. Rising from her place, she moved to where the girl was looking into the water. Canting her head slightly, she asked, "What are you doing?" Maybe this girl would let her touch those soft ears that looked so much like Mojitos.

She jumped, danced, and played in the sand and the surf without a care in the world. Her bright eyes flashed and her bell like giggle could be heard over the crashing of the waves and the seagulls above. Her focus was obviously on the water but at the sound of a voice the young girl was quick to jump and turn around towards it. Bright icy blue eyes were met with that of the Armada’s princess. Moon blinked a few times before digesting the question. All the while her silky, if not wet, tail wagged at her hips.

”I’m playing!” She commented with a huge grin and the tilt of her head. ”I like to chase the waves, and sometimes I get to see fish and stuff.” There didn’t seem to be an end to the different surprises that the ocean might bring them. She bounced lightly on her toes, grin unable to be diminished. ”What are you doing?” The question was returned with Moonshine’s endless curiosity.

The girl was entirely too bubbly. Wasn't she older than Aslatiel? At least by a little bit. why then was she acting like such a child? Didn't she have any worries? Any expectations from others? It irritated Asla just a bit that someone should be allowed to remain so care free. So, in light of her irritation, just how much of an asshole could she be?

The girl asked what Aslatiel was doing and the cream colored girl grinned. She gave a noncommittal shrug and gave her lashes a bat over those big purple eyes. "Oh, I was just thinking about your brother." Raising one paw, Aslatiel feigned inspecting her retractable claws. "I was thinking about how soft his ears were against my cheek." Extending the claws to their full length momentarily, she placed her paw back in the sand. "I was thinking about how soft his lips were against mine."

Moonshine was definitely half dog. Ever happy to meet new people, impossible to get down. Moon was far from moving on from the puppy stage, and her mannerisms and attitude reflected that. Her parents worked hard to keep her sheltered, and so the sweet girl had no real taste of the bitter world if she could even comprehend it. She was also easily distracted, but she tried really hard to give the other girl her full attention. The waves tickled her toes teasingly, but she was committed.

”Oh! My brother!” Moonshine loved her brothers, they were indeed soft and cuddly. All of them had inherited their dad’s floppy ears. Moon shook her head to show off her own. ”Mine are soft too,” she offered with a wag of her long furred tail. ”Wait.” She gasped as she took a couple jumping leaps across the sand before zooming back to Aslatiel. ”You mean like kissing!” She brought her paw over her own delicate lips in surprise as icy blue eyes grew wide.

Yep. The girl was weird. Maybe it was the dog in her that made her weird? Asla didn't know, but she was most definitely weird. Her brow furrowed as Moonshine was oblivious to the bait that she'd laid. Wasn't the girl upset that some girl had been fondling her brother? Gods, she would have been furious had some random girl walked up and said she was feeling up one of her brothers.

Moonshine did seem to latch onto the fact that Aslatiel had kissed Mojito. The floppy eared girls eyes went wide and she came in close. Like kissing? "Oh yes. Definitely kissing. He's a good kisser." Well, she was the good kisser and she had been the one to kiss him, but still. Moonshine didn't need to know that. "I'll probably kiss him again the next time I see him." She'd already made it a plan. The boy had said how much he admired her and had always admired her. There was a soft spot within her for him and she planned to look into it further.

Fixing her purple gaze on the hyper little dog wolf, she continued. "Does it bother you that I kissed your brother?" She hoped that it did, but you never knew. This girl was a wildcard and she hadn't figured her out just yet.

Moonshine didn’t have a possesive bone in her body, she didnt mind sharing and liked to make others smile. Much like her dog ancestry, Moon aimed to please. She often didn’t understand the emotions of others because she was so happy all of th etime, but thta would start to wear off eventually. For now the world was nothing but sunshine and rainbows. That included kisses.

The young girl giggled as Aslatiel affirmed her earlier statement, she kissed her brother and she was going to do it again. ”Oh! Mo-ji-to and… purple eyed girl, sitting in a tree!” She giggled enthusiastically as heer energy exploded again and she bounced around. ”K-I-S-S-I-N-G!” She bounced some moure, her floppy ears and her long furred tail flopping every which way.

”Wait!” Which was code for, Moonshine pause! ”You kissed him, will you kiss me?” Her tail wagged even faster as she lowered herself into a daring play bow.

This... was just no fun at all. She couldn't goad the girl into a reaction. Maybe there was something wrong with her brain. When she started singing, Asla wrinkled her nose. Purple eyed girl? "My name is Aslatiel. I'm the princess of the Armada." It was weird to throw titles, but this girl was clueless. Purple eyed girl...

The floppy eared wad of sunshine asked if she was going to kiss her too. Asla almost stood that she'd rather fight her, but she figured that fighting his little sister might make Mojito upset. For some reason that mattered to her. Asla frowned, brow furrowing. It was a strange thought.

Was she going to kiss her? Well she hasn't kissed a girl yet. She'd seen her grandma kiss Tamsyn so she knew that it could be done. Would it feel different. The cream and grey girl narrowed her gaze. "I guess," she said in a sullen mumble. "You have to hold still though." She began to approach the little wolfdog.

Moonshine wasn’t fantastic at teasing but it seemed like she got through Aslatiel slightly with her sing song and impromptu choice of name. This was Aslatiel and she was a princess. Reminded of Princess Pestilence and her once dream to be Princess too. That was not the life for the dark pointed puppy. ”Oooh! Nice to meet you, Aslatiel. I’m Moonshine! You can call me Moo or Moon if you want though.” The tiny child beamed while her tail continued to wag at her hips a million miles a minute.

Aslatiel seemed to need a moment to think about the girl pup’s proposition. Moon figured if her brother deserved a kiss so should she. Maybe Cognac too? Though still not seeming completely convinced the Princess decided that she would in fact offer Moonshine a kiss. Of course sitting still was a requirement. Moonshine, unafraid and unwilling to admit the darker bits of life existed, lowered herself to her haunches and for the longest amount of time in her life, sat still. Her tail still wagged as Asla reluctantly drew near. ”Alright, I’ll sit still for you.” Moon giggled lightly.

The dog puppy was all smiles, bright eyes, and a bushy tail. She wasn’t forcing Aslatiel to do anything and felt the same excitement about her kiss with the girl’s reluctance as much as she would her excitement.

"Then I guess... you can call me Asla." She was still pretty thrown off by the whole thing, but she was trying. Dealing with Moonshine, as she gave her name, was like dealing with the smallest of children. That was pretty bad considering she was also still a child. Not even a year yet. Again, she reminded herself that Moonshine was supposed to be older than she was. So weird.

Moonshine actually sat still, though Asla could see that it was difficult to contain her excitement. She thought that she could visibly see the girl trembling with the effort. Well... she said that she would, so she'd better get on with it.

Approaching the floppy eared wolf-dog, Aslatiel raised one paw. First, she stroked one silken ear, then she placed her lips against Moonshine's own. The kiss was soft and breathy. Her paw had drifted to the bottom of Moon's chin as she gently lifted the girl's muzzle to the proper height. At the end of the kiss, her lips parted and she placed a quick flick of her tongue to Moon's lower lip. Then she drew back and looked out over the sea as though the action had been nothing. Inside though... man... she loved kissing girls.

Moonshine nodded lightly, eyes bright, as the other girl offered her own nickname to use. Moo didn’t lose the smile that played on her features, very much less mature than the slightly younger pup. Innocence held tightly to her, but was chipped away slightly as Aslatiel inched closer. She held still but until Asla’s lips met hers she was still moving, practically vibrating as she concentrated all of her efforts on sitting still.

Aslatiel caressed her ashen ear, but her focus transferred quickly to her kiss. For the first time in her life Moonshine stood completely still. Her eyes closed instinctively as her whole body settled for that moment. Her tail started to wag again as she was surprised by the lick of her tongue at the end and was almost sad when Asla moved away. Moonshine was never sad though.

Again she was bouncing happily in place as Aslatiel looked away from her and back across the ocean. The young pups heart beat as excitedly as her tail wagged. ”Yay! Moo-oon and Asla sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!” She giggled happily and flopped over onto her back to wriggle in the sand, her tongue lolling out of her mouth in complete puppy happiness.

Aaaand she'd had enough. The girl was just too... childlike for Aslatiel at the moment. The striped young wolf was all deep, dark feelings at the moment. Moonshine was on an entirely different level. As the floppy eared girl began to sing and dance about, Asla sighed and shook her head. She needed a break from this. With a second sigh and yet another shake of her head, Asla turned and began to walk back towards the Armada. Hopefully the wolf dog wouldn't follow her. Where was Mojito when she needed him? She would much rather have been kissing him and stroking his oh so soft ears. Aslatiel adored Mo's ears. Why hadn't she been born with fun ears? Yet another reason to be sulky.
