Indigo loped along the border easily, his paws had been so restless recently and he didn’t know why. He felt so confused and lost recently that walking and patrolling had become his outlet for the inner turmoil. Huge paws carried him along, his massive violet form slipping through the white trees as his blue eyes looked to the canopy above. The long sabers protruded from his lips even further as he lifted his head, his mind rolling with ideas on how to get one of the white trees to his garden. He had been admiring the white barked giants for a long time, but there were hardly any seedlings or saplings to collect. He was afraid of trying to transplant anything bigger. One because it would be difficult to move and two that it likely wouldn’t do well after being transplanted.

A soft sigh left the boy’s lips as he came to a halt and looked around him, still missing any tree small enough to take back with him. He’d have to keep an eye out and come around the shrine more often. Or talk to Iolaire about helping him. Either way, he needed one for his new pond.

With his sleeping spot getting both discovered and disturbed by family and outsiders, Chimera had packed up and had found someplace else. He'd discovered a little clearing in the middle of the tall, pale trees. Small enough to house a pile of furs, big enough to let him roll around comfortably. The trees were pushed in close, creating openings between them big enough for a cat to get through, but nothing larger. They were some of the smallest trees around the shrine.

A yawn pulled from the boy as he woke from his nap. Mismatched eyes blinked, though only one of them saw. There were no Silent Ones around, thankfully. He hated waking up to see them standing over him; staring disapprovingly with their lifeless eyes. He was used to them now. They didn't scare him as much as they once had.

Ears perked at the sound of paws moving over the soft grasses between the trees. Chimera rolled to a seated position, another yawn flashing fang and tongue. As he looked about for the source of the movement, he happened to see a giant, purple ball of fluff walking through the white forest. The boy wrinkled his nose, then got to his paws. Another Armada dog come sniffing around the thrones of royalty? "Hey, you there," he growled out. "What are you doing here?"  He was in a less sour mood than he had been when the brightly spotted wench had come calling, but Chimera was never in what could be considered a good mood.

Indigo walked slowly through the hallowed forest, he always felt a little different here. Like things were quieter, and sacred. Bright blue eyes scaled the trees, the boy was content here with the ancient trees. Though he was encouraged when he found the smaller trees in the forest. Dark ears perked forward as he peered forward, trying to decide what he was looking at when the boy’s voice rose up.

The growl that accompanied the words put Indigo on edge, but his gaze would focus in and his attention was clearly gathered. They weren’t very polite words either, but Indy wasn’t afraid of much, especially not a younger pup like this. ”What are you doing here?” He returned, knowing full well he could traipse all over Ashen lands and the boy couldn’t do anything about it. Vice Versa was true, but Indigo didn’t mind visitors. In fact, he enjoyed sharing and talking about his garden. ”I’ve been searching for a sapling of the white trees. I want one for my garden.” He confessed softly, again looking up to the canopy as he admired the trength of these old growth trees.

Chimera narrowed his mismatched eyes and bristled. The dire boy walked stiff legged out of his little clearing. "I am a prince of Ashen and this is my home you're intruding upon." He didn't know why his mother had allowed these dogs free reign upon their land. If he was Emperor, he'd put a stop to that. Ah, but his mother was gone. Perhaps Venom would put a stop to it. He would see about it once this was handled. The purple monstrosity wanted one of his trees? "No." It was simple as that. "You're trespassing here, so why don't you turn around and run home just like the last Armada slave cur that came this way." The ugly woman had woken him when he was falling asleep, now this equally ugly boy was tromping all over his hideout and wanted to take one of his trees. They were the slaves. It seemed that they needed a stronger master. "Speech"

Indigo’s musing at the canopy was interrupted as Chimera shifted. Out of the corner of his blue eyes the boy didn’t miss the pup bristling and the aggression in his voice. He felt himself stiffen lightly as he prepared for any potential outcome. Maybe Indy had gotten a little too close to the boy’s den, but Indigo was certainly not intruding.

”No, what?” What kind of authority did this boy have? Indigo was sure that it wasn’t anymore than his own. Chimera went on and called him names, but he wasn’t about to be intimidated by the Ashen prince. ”Because I’m not trespassing.” He explained boldly, he was allowed to be here. He wasn’t about to be chased off by prickly words. Indigo didn’t want to intrude on the boy’s space, but it wasn’t like he’d traipsed through his den or front lawn. Okay maybe the front lawn. ”And I’m not a slave.” He added on, making no move to leave. Chimera brought out a stubborness in him he hadn’t realized was there.

The dumb purple beast had no idea what he was talking about. Not slaves? "The Armada serves Ashen. That's why they're called The Ashen Armada. Don't you know anything?" The boy wrinkled his nose in distaste. "Your father bows down to my mother." Ah, yes. He recognized this boy now. He heard tales of the different offspring of Ashen's attack dog. "And you can't have any of our trees. They're not for you." He was pretty sure that they were all too big to remove anyway except for the ones where he had his makeshift den. When the dolt didn't turn tail and leave, Chimera took a step forward, still stiff legged and bristling. He wasn't as big as this purple monstrosity, but he was pretty close. "Didn't you hear what I said? You aren't wanted here. Go back home to your slave parents." The two-toned young wolf growled, flashing fangs once more. "Speech"
