Lynvarr chewed a few more chunks off the bone before deciding he had a pretty decent spear head. It still needed to be refined a bit so he took the blade in his jaws and started rubbing it against a large stone to fine tune the point and smooth out a few imperfections caused by his chewing. There were only so fine a things he could do with his teeth. He stretched his jaws for a moment before picking the bone spearhead back up in his teeth and scrapping it across the stone for just a few more minutes before he declared it done. With his crafting finished he put the spearhead away and packed up his things to head back toward the heart of the festival.

Picking up the spear in his jaws he trotted over to a large rock. He carefully repositioned the spear in his mouth so that his jaws were closer to the tip he wanted to sharpen for better leverage. He eyed the rock for a moment then started rubbing the end of the spear against the rock as he worked to make a sharpened point. It took some doing but with a little persistence he soon had a basic spear. Shilah stretched his jaws. There was probably a better way to do this but he wasn't entirely sure what it was. He spied Lynvarr taking off and decided he would to. He was eager to swap more tales with the nomads gathered nearby.

Ragna leaned the spear against a larger rock so that the end stuck up. She moved to her travois and unwrapped a stick of pine pitch. Taking it in her jaws she trotted over to the fire to warm it to the point that it was sticky and oozing enough to fill the notch. She took the pine pitch back over to the end of the spear and lightly pressed the pine pitch into the notch. She then set the pine pitch down and picked up the spearhead she wanted to use. She carefully pressed the back end of the spearhead into the notch, using one of her paws to hold the spear steady. She held the spearhead into the spear until the pine pitch dried enough so that the spearhead wouldn't move out of place. Once that was done she stretched and started putting things away. "I'm going to get us some dinner love."

With the holes in his bracers situated it was time to add the lacing. Káti planned to start at the bottom and then work his way to the top so that the final knot to tighten the bracer on a leg would be at the top. He had some thin braided leather cordage that should be long enough. First he wove it through the bottom holes and then started crisscrossing his way up, alternating holes on either side to get an 'x' like pattern. Once he got to the top he tied a little knot at the end of each strand to prevent them slipping back out. There, one bracer done. He'd have to put it on and give it a try. Feeling suddenly more shy he wrapped up his bracers and took off to try them on.

Skælingr listened as Elba mentioned that she'd traded for the leather and that it had been made using some process using acorns. He was familiar with some nuts being used to make ink. He'd have to try a few ideas with dying leather. "That's fascinating. There are some very talented crafters at this festival." Ragna finished up her project and left for dinner.

"Sounds good, love. I'll be along in a moment." He worked on getting his items put away. Once he was done he turned to Daelos and Elba. "It was good to see you both again. Enjoy the rest of the festival."
