Dunkan didnt want to do anything but focus n his duties,he had to keep himself within the discipline and organized schedule he applied to his days.He wanted to be the best always,to never let his determination to triumph as a warrior die for any stupid reason. He needed to be beyond any weak thought or action. He didn't want to insult his own ideals and in how he lived his life, he never cared for what others thought of his attitude. He was just preferring his hard work before any other stuff like liking everyone. Today with noon's sun starting to rise, he was on one of the several patrols he made in his everyday routine. Accompanied by his companion, the pair had just begun their switch and none had rush on completing them. The more time the better for them to do physical exercise and keeping their minds free from the trash. In silence they walked through the scent line, keeping a sharp eye on their surroundings. After the previous attack from a cougar, they now would have their senses turned on and be ready to fight back, not just other predators but also ant trespassers. |

Naiche was also patrolling, a regular task so he never forgot a bit of the Armada's earth of the neighboring scents and sights around it. He was moving a bit smaller than his normal gait, his tail dropped down low where it would normally be up more even with his back. It lacked a clump of fur near the top portion of its base. He was ever the observant to the smells around him, seeing the world as much by scent as sight. It was the scent of the cougar that caught his attention this time. His head turning to look behind and shortly after they would be able to spot one another.
Naiche wasn't one to generally want chit-chat but his mind was plagued with unwanted thoughts today so perhaps another wolfs presence would do him some good. The cat, besides being first noticed was now mostly ignored. Companions no doubt had their usefulness and in a way Naiche would enjoy help on the battlefield but over all why would he want to share so much time with any creature other than a wolf? Naiche offered the other wolf a nod of acknowledgement. This one hadn't been much for words before they sparred, the sort of wold he could probably get along with. "Patrolling as well I assume?"

Dukan kept his eyes and ears in high alert , ready for anything that could happen.Urasa was ready to,he was always going to fight beside Dunkan, they were now like a brother in a way thought. And there Dunkan remained focused and holding himself with confidence if that would help in discouraging anyone to attack,he wasnt an easy pick. There as he kept with his travels,a voice reached his black ears.It was Naiche.who seemed to be also patrolling today. Dunkan wasnt used to have company in his patrols beside Urasa's but he was fine with Naiche's presence. He wasnt the annoying type. "Patrolling as well I assume?" "I do, and i see you are too." He said calmly looking at the other male as he spoke. Returning his attention to his duties he would stay in silence. But then the breeze carried with it the scent of a tiger, one that was dangerously too close. He stopped and sniffed the air again. "A tiger," He said in a low voice ,narrowing his eyes. "Speech" |

Naiche nodded and moving to move at an even pace with the other wolf. He caught a scent that he recognized but had never actually seen before. It was a scent he had learned from his family to avoid and thus they had never gotten close enough for him to see in his earlier part of life. The scent was something he clearly now recognized as a cat to give himself some idea of what to expect but still plenty of questions.
“Tiger? I smelled them a few times before I came here but I’ve never seen one.” It was a mixture both explained curiosity and need for insight. Naiche’s focus on the direction of the scent. “Smell is getting stronger.” It was as if speaking that summoned it into life. Naiche looked farther to the west and spotted the brazen cat prowling to where it would soon cross into their land. Naiche’s lips pulled back so teeth and gums were visible. So much for needing to make Duncan to tell him about one, he'd just learn firsthand.
“No you don’t…” Looking to Duncan, “I’m going to get around so I’ll be at his opposite side. Give me a minute to get in place.” Naiche said that without waiting to see if Dunkan had his own plan or would keep with that. Time was a precious thing. Naiche ran farther into their own territory for a moment to gain some distance and not upset the tiger until he was in position directly opposite where he had left Dunkan. Another fight to chase something off instead of killing, but he bet it would be a great fight.
