Ashen Armada Pack Training
Naiche focused his attention fully on Tamsyn as she spoke of possible circumstances and solutions. The part that surprised him most and yet made the most sense was to try things even like getting a paw stuck to handle that situation in a fight. She was right! Not that he had expected her to be wrong but he would have never considered it until it was too late.
Naiche stepped around in the water, stiffened a bit as he glanced down into the water. The rocks were slick from the algae that grew on them. Not enough that he’d fall but it was enough to surprise the unplanned foot. From there he walked intently more clumsily, letting his feet get stuck, pausing to consider what would be the best way to get free fast, imagining a wolf coming at him the same moment. How would he dodge if the movement was limited?
After a few minutes, it was hard to not let his mind drift to the upcoming spar. Looking around wondering he would fight against? His ears pinned back spotting Asla. As long as it wasn’t her. Would Tamsyn spar with someone? He’d like to spar against her for a lesson, if not now he could ask her later.
Naiche forced his mind back to the task at hand, spending a few more minutes focusing on the terrain before he went to find his sparring partner.

Sedna was not unfamiliar with fighting on terrain like this, even if it was only against her siblings, so she was probably less daunted than some others. What genuinely bothered her was the threat from above that didn’t exist on her home turf. She picked a path through a dense patch of mangroves, lifting paws high where needed, pulling sharply when required, and in one instance quickly swinging to snap a more giving vine with her teeth. She wished she had bought Otis along with her, he could worry about unhitching her feet while she kept her eyes forward, but fights rarely came when they were expected, and she couldn’t use the opossum as a crutch all the time.
Her grey eyes fell on a woman of similar height and build to herself, Sedna gave a tip of her chin, an invitation to pair up with the green eyed wolf. At lease she seemed to be one of the wolves least worried about the unfamiliar footing.
"speech".
He listened to what else Tamsyn had to say, they would be better preapred when the real fights came. Indy’s eyes glanced to his sister as their general told them they were to pair off and do a bit of practicing before they returned to the Armada. Indy grinned lightly, eager to train in close quaters with his sister.
Warning: Indigo should be considered a Mature Character.
