Torin kept a careful eye on his daughter as they returned home, the pale woman's offer bouncing in his head as they walked. He wanted to make sure that his little bean wasn't about to have another episode but he also needed to keep his pace up, slowing his normal speed just enough that he wouldn't leave his much smaller daughter behind. But he had to get back, the rest of his children needed to know. He was barely across the border when Torin was tipping his head back and calling for his children. Normally he'd settle in to wait for them but he was a little to wound up for that, instead taking a moment to look at Sio. "We'll get through this." He mumbled as he reached out to nuzzle at his daughter, not sure if he was trying to convince himself or her. "Silent Treatment" & Deep thoughts |

It was rare - very rare - that Torin called for them lately, and thankfully Aryn had temporarily satiated her wanderlust enough that she was nearby when his howl rang out. Being taken by Fireside for those terrible few hours was just awful, it had spooked her from adventures for at least a little while. Shortly after she'd made a fool out of herself to half of Boreas at Jupiter's bachelor party and whatever part of her still wanted to rescue the sad baby goats was too embarassed to even leave the property lest she run into Eligos. She was in her den hiding her shame when her father called, considering hard about whether or not she should even answer his summons. In the end the daddy's girl in her won out, and she slunk slowly over to the border to meet him and the rest of her siblings. "What's going on?" His urgency was unmistakable and her eyes crinkled in concern, Eligos and Tyrian temporarily forgotten.

Lachlan had been even more quiet after the crazy party. He remembered more than he wanted to at this point and found himself going over the events in his head with a fine tooth comb. Some parts he found joy in thinking about, like Abilene’s soft arms around him and the feeling of the waves over his fur. Or Tyrian and his cunning bright eyes. Forgetting his sister was probably about as shameful as it got. He thought he’d gone looking for her at some point in the night but he honestly couldn’t remember at that point. Thankfully she seemed unharmed, but that didn’t make Lachlan feel any better.
Timidly he approached, tail swaying lightly at his ankles as he sat beside Aryn, wondering if he even had a right to call her sister after his poor performance at caring for her.
