Now this was more like it!  Jynn trotted onto the plains that Tahmores had scouted out the day before. He said wolves met here to battle and she was itching to get some training in. Especially since the wolves here seemed far larger than those of her homeland. Normally she was the tall oddity strolling across the prairie but that seemed to change here.

"If we win I'll hunt dinner tonight, if we don't you do. Deal?"

Jynn looked at her smaller companion and smirked. "Deal." Tipping her head back she called for an opponent.

She had to do this. She had to. She promised Theory that she would get herself ready for battle. That she would learn how to fight for Abaven. She knew her sisters were mostly happy that she had decided to do anything to get her out of her shell, and out of her den. Maybe fighting would remind her that she had strength.

Still, she couldn’t have done this if Poem hadn’t come with her. Her sister had proved time and time again that she would always protect Motif from the world, if she needed it.

At the sound of a call, Motif glanced at her sister, and then back to the battlefield. Taking strength from that fleeting glance. She followed the howl, and found the wolf - or was she a wolf? Waiting for a partner. She gave the woman a nervous smile “Hello, i’m Motif” she said, her voice quiet. Giving the other the option of first move.

Jynn grinned excitedly as an opponent appeared. A woman about Jynn's age but considerably taller answered the call and introduced herself as Motif. She seemed a little nervous. Jynn could understand that. "Nice to meet you Motif. I'm Jynn and this is Tahmores." She gestured to her companion, the little Ethiopian wolf. It seemed she would be given the first move. Jynn set her defenses, making sure to pin her large bat-like ears as tight as she could. It wasn't often she got to fight someone taller than her. This would be a good experience.

Jynn leapt forward, kicking up dirt as she flew toward Motif. Her jaws opened wide as she sought to strike at the woman's left shoulder. It was meant to be a swift, cutting bite rather than a steady hold.
