I'll adjust to adjusting
Aranea

When morning came she got up with a deep stretch and a satisfied groan. There really wasn't much like a good sleep after spending the day traveling. Making her way across the desert had been pretty tiring on its own, but the extra travel that came along with exploring the cave as well certainly added an extra bit of exhaustion. However, that didn't stop her from waking up early as she had become accustomed to doing during her time as a General with the necessity of getting up early to start her patrols. She'd let herself sleep in a bit more here and there since moving into the Hallows with Resin, but still - some habits died hard. They set out as soon as they were both fully awake and had caught themselves a bit of breakfast and once again she let Aranea take the lead in picking their direction. They continued moving further west and soon came across a very flat stretch of land that oddly had quite a few borders and rocks scattered around. There was a noticeable dip around the edge of this place as if it might collect water when it rained. Right now, in the middle of summer, it seemed quite dry, but when she placed her paw upon the surface she realized it still had an oddly soft, muddy texture to the silty dirt. |
