The bird wasn’t small by any means but thankfully those fragile bird bones helped lessen the weight he would imagine such a thing to weigh. Naiche would soon be a warrior instead of a student!  That thought made the bird feel all the more weightless but the trek home to get to Sirius felt it would take forever.  No reason to drag the bird all over looking for the giant wolf, once Naiche had gotten farther into the grassy plains he dropped the bird and howled for his warlord.  Yes, there was a hint of pride in his howl, damn straight he got to feel happy in completion of the mission that would let him move up in rank. The slashes from the bird talons had become more obvious as he proudly took his kill back into the pack territory. It hurt, but it was ignored all the same. There was dried blood along the front of his shoulder and he could feel the slightest of it trickling when he moved the leg but Naiche imagined it would stop bleeding soon, once he went to his den and rested.  That wasn’t going to happen until this was completed. With the howl for the warlord Naiche took just a few more strides than dropped the bird and sat down to wait bright-eyed.  When the warlord was free he would come to Naiche and for once Naiche was willing to rest. Sirius Fatalis There was a certain call that Sirius had been waiting for and expecting. Hearing the proud howl of his student - no, warrior - sent a buzz of pride through the Warlords veins. He closed the door to the smoke house, leaving his meat rest in there for a time, and went after the direction of the call. A light trott brought him to the bright toned wolf, and a glance downwards would show the condor at his feet. The Warlord grinned as he came to a stop before the man. He leaned forward, blowing a breath across Naiche’s ears, and examined the dead bird. Sirius hated Condors, and with Zee pregnant. Yes… Naiche had done very well indeed. “Congratulations Naiche, you’ve performed admirably. The Warrior position is yours, as promised.” and with that, he raised his head, and howled the news to the pack. Informing them of what Naiche had become. "Speech"

There was no doubt about it, Naiche’s tail was up with pride waving back and forth. "I won't let you down!" That's right, he would make sure Sirius never regretted his decision to push Naiche up in rank.  Naiche knew he was young but he also was confident he deserved the position. Despite his pleasure, at this, another thought had occurred to him while waiting for the warlord.  Not that he had waited overly long but with this bit of pride other achievements needed had gone through his mind, and other things expected.  Hanako had mentioned raiding at one point and her staying to defend as well. He watched with enjoyment at the howl, and yah maybe with a bit of a grin but afterward decided to question his idea. “So, might be a bit of moving off original point for calling you, but I was thinking about what I had been told once about raiding.  Will we be raiding another pack again in the future or threats of raiding on us?  I thought maybe for help with experience on both offense and defense we might have a mock raid?  Split the wolves who would come and be the attackers and those left to defend.“ Yes, part of it was practice and wanting to be ready should it happen but even as he suggested the idea the more it also sounded like fun.  After calling Sirius just to prove his right to be a warrior was this a strange time to mention it?  Well, why not?  He was here in front of him after all.  It would be fun!  Who would end up fighting who, would he end up double teamed or working with another to fight the mighty Sirius?  If Sirius agreed what position would he take, or his sons? Sirius Fatalis Naiche would be a good fit as a warrior, he was determined and steady. He trained hard, and didn’t shirk responsibilities. Sirius placed a paw over the dead condor, looking at its glossy feathers, and cruel beak. A part of him wondered if Bird’s disappearance had had anything to do with a condor. After all, one had already tried to kidnap him right under Seer’s nose. He dismissed the thought. The man had been gone for a long time now. The Warlord chuckled at Naiche’s words. “You missed it, but we did something similar shortly before you joined. We had a practise raid against Ashen. As for training, I do have some ideas in the works. I want to sort the pack’s leadership first, and then let it unfold.” he explained to Naiche. Not giving away too much. And as for the Reaper position, he would be announcing that shortly. "Speech"
