It wasn't that much of a familiar feeling, but when you've felt the feeling before, you knew. And Agria knew. She pegged herself as too old and out of season. She thought by her season this year she'd be infertile. And yet, here she was. And would it have been anyone other than her son who raped her, she probably would have just went through to the birth and dealt with it.
She came to the cliffs off of the lake they made a temporary home and edged to the side. She seemed scared, scooting to the edge and peering down the rocky side and crashing waves at the bottom. She had never been one to even think about giving up this way. She was always a fighter and never submitted to anything. And as her paws hit the edge of the cliff, her body shook to the thought of her life ending this way. And she was having a hard time deciding what was the worse decision. Bearing her son's bastard children or jumping to her death.
