Aside from the work that she had been doing on thr visitors dens, Resin had been working double time on the home that she was building for Tamsyn and the pups. With the help of Sirius, she'd excavated a large main chamber. That had been a large portion of work and he had helped tremendously, setting the woman far ahead of schedule.

With such a large, wide space, Resin had, with the aid of Ulric, drug trees into the den. She used three as bracers, holding up the dirt ceiling. Resin had been careful to only dig in the center of the boulders and not beneath. Either way, she braced those areas with thick trees. Better safe than sorry. She wouldn't risk her family.

Another layer of protection had been constructed above. The scarred fae had filled in the spaces between the large boulders, creating a grassy play yard for their upcoming brood. There would be no chance of the pups escaping the place for quite some time. Both mothers should feel more at ease with their children in the protected space.

With the main chamber done, she began digging out the master bed chamber that she and Tam would share. There was another smaller one off to the side for guests. She'd also excavated an alcove to store furs and other items. Here and there she made indents for shelving which she lined with thin, straight branches to create sturdy flat surfaces. There would be plenty of storage space.

After packing the corners with sweet smelling grasses and flowers, the last order of business was to bring in finishing touches. Resin filled their bed chamber with thick furs and pillows. She brought in dishes and other various odds and ends. She tried her best to make the place look and feel like home. All that was left to do was to show Tamsyn.

Moving back out of the den, Resin released a low howl, calling for her rotund little woman. She hoped that Tam would appreciate her efforts. If there was anything that the mint-eyed lady wanted to add, Resin would be more than happy to do so. For now, she was content to have a permanent place for their children to be born within. As the warm evening sun filtered down upon the falls, Resin sat and reflected upon how well everything was going for them.

Walk | "Talk" | think

Any day now. She knew that these pups would finally be here aaaany day and she couldn't be more ready to have them out in the world and no longer in her huge stomach. They were so very active, almost constantly moving and kicking her ribs and putting pressure various parts of her torso. She was tired of having to waddle everywhere, she was tired of not being able to really move or travel anywhere, and most of all she was just tired of being tired. Even just walking across their territory was a chore right now so she usually found her place to linger for the day and stayed there - either around the dens, the healer's area, or by the edge of the hot springs.

This day in particular she had spent near the hut that the healers kept, spending time with the various healers that came to organize herbs or store things they had collected or other various activities that kept them busy. It was an easy way for her to continue spending time with her pack members and check in on how things were going while not having to move. However, the one and only thing that would make her get up from her comfy spot was her lover and her call easily pulled Tamsyn back to her feet. She made her way up to the top portion of the falls where the pack's dens were slowly taking shape and she waddled herself over to where Resin was waiting for her. She had peeked little bits and pieces of what their home was shaping up to be and she was impatiently waiting to see the final result. When she saw that her Aegis was waiting outside the den she realized that this must be the grand reveal and an excited grin crossed her face. "Do I finally get to see?" Tam asked as she slowly made her way over to Resin, giving her a quick kiss once she eventually crossed the closed off area that would eventually be their children's play space.

She didn't mind waiting for Tamsyn at all. The smaller fae was filled to the brim with puppies and the both the extra weight and the awkwardness of it had made her slow. Besides, the longer Tam took, the longer Resins rest would be. Though she wouldn't complain about it, the scarred faes paws were sore from digging and building and laying clay and splitting wood and everything else that she'd been doing to finish the den in time.

Eventually the very round form of Tamsyn came into view and Resin smiled upon the midnight dame as she drew near. Her lover placed a quick kiss on her lips and began to move into the den but Resin caught her with one thick foreleg and drew her in for a more thorough, lingering kiss. Only then did she release the little lady and allow her into the den.

Once Tam was inside, Resin seated herself by the doorway, giving her lover free reign to poke around and inspect their new home. Resin explained a few things as Tamsyn moved around inside. "The floor is lined with clay to keep moisture out. It will be easier to clean as well." Pups were messy things.

"There's an alcove for furs, a guest room off of the main chamber. Our room is at the back on the right." She and Sirius had made the den very spacious. There would be no ducking for any wolf. There was ample room in the main chamber for a plethora of pups to romp and play. Council meetings could even be held within. Fur curtains gave each sleeping chamber their privacy. She had shoved shelving into almost every wall. Not that Resin really had much in the way of possessions, but she imagined that they would accumulate quite a bit.

A lone golden eye watched the black wolf as she inspected the place. Resin wanted Tam to be pleased. She'd poured her heart into this place and it showed in the craftsmanship and care that went into every little detail. Resin didn't realize it, but she was almost holding her breath in anticipation. She could see Tamsyn and her children thriving here, but would Tam see it as well?

She looked up to Resin with surprise when her lover stopped her from going closer to the den, but her surprise quickly changed to a pleased hum when she was graced with another kiss - this time lingering and savoring. It brought a grin to her lips when their muzzles parted again and made her wish that this whole pregnancy thing was over already so she could actually enjoy being Resin's lover again, but a kick to her ribs from one of their more rambunctious pups reminded her that they currently had a bit of an audience of sorts. Soon enough though that wouldn't be the case and they would just need a pup sitter so they could have a moment to themselves. She chuckled a little and gave the larger fae a teasing glare for tempting her before going on to slip inside their newly completed home.

As soon as her mint eyes adjusted to the beautifully constructed den that Resin had to present to her she looked around with her mouth hanging open with awe. She knew her lover had been spending every waking moment it seemed like to get this ready before the pups arrived and it definitely showed. Everything was so beautiful and homey and it immediately felt like the perfect place to raise their family. She wandered around and looked at everything while Resin described her surroundings and explained how it was all arranged. She looked at the floor she had created with an impressed nod. It was a technique she had never seen before until Resin had implemented it in the guest's dens. She had been impressed the first time she saw it and was still impressed now. She looked around in the alcove that was there for storage and even peeked into the guest room - happy that they would have somewhere for their friends and family to stay if they wished. The last place to check out was their room and she stuck her head past the fur that hung over the door to see the spacious room that hid behind it. It was perfect. Everything was perfect.

She turned back to Resin with a huge smile, her tail wagging behind her as she came back to where her favorite wolf in the whole world was sitting and she leaned up to leave a happy, passionate, loving kiss on her lips. "This is so wonderful, Resin. Thank you for building this for us... This is so much more than I was even expecting. You always amaze me." She nuzzled into Resin's chest happily, unable to keep the huge smile off of her lips. It was almost time to fill this place with little pups and she couldn't wait.

Resin simply sat by the doorway and watched as Tam moved through their new home, inspecting each little thing that Resin had crafted. She hoped that her lover would like each little thing that she did. No doubt Tam would say that she liked it anyway. That was just the sort of wolf that she was. If anything wasn't to her liking or she would like something added, Resin would rather Tam told her.

Tam turned to her, happiness on her face and Resin couldn't stop the smile from forming on her own. As the two ladies met, Tam kissed her, then nuzzled into her. Resin wrapped one big leg around her lover and drew her in close. There was no one that she'd rather share this with. It didn't matter whose pups were growing inside of her. These pups would be theirs just as this home was their and this pack was theirs. Resin wanted to share everything with Tamsyn, now and always.

With one final kiss to the top of her lovers head, Resin pulled away and moved into the bed chamber. Stepping up on the the pallet covered in furs, the giant woman laid down. After so much work, she needed a nap. Her first nap in their new home. Patting the area beside her, she beckoned her round little woman to join her. She'd made the layer of furs extra plush to make it more comfortable for the smaller fae. "Come sleep with me," Again she patted the space beside her. Already the woman's eye felt heavy. No doubt she would pass out in no time.
