He and Venom still had a great deal to discuss. The woman had made her ascension recently, and was settling in as Empress at her pack. He knew she had dealt with Chimera, but didn’t know the full details yet. But, he was proud of her. She wasn’t afraid to speak her mind, and make her point. She was showing her strength early, and he knew that was a good thing for the sleepy Ashen pack.

But, but most importantly, he wanted her to meet the little nuggets that he would invite her to call siblings, if she so desired. She was as much a daughter to him as his own blood. If anything, he had raised her first. Look at the wolf she had turned out to be? His heart brimmed with pride.

He had sent Marshal out to fetch the Empress, and offer her an invitation to meet his newest children.

Venom was only slightly surprised to be met with Sirius’s vulture. The Warlord would have come to her she knew, but the invitation to meet his newborns was enough explanation to his absence. Her thin frame was swift to answer the summons, she had only been lingering in the shrine in silent prayer. She’d been doing so more and more as she felt her father’s missing presence. How would their life be different if he still lived today?

Sirius had always been a father figure for her in Archon’s stead. He taught her so much of what she knew today. He was one she knew she could count on, this was a relationship that went deeper than political ties.

The Empress nodded lightly to Marshal as she dipped her head into Sirius’s family den. ”Hello, Seer.” She greeted him warmly and aimed to offer a quick nuzzle to his jaw before she let him draw her attention to the newest arrivals. She tried to keep Azure from her mind as she was brought back fondly to meeting his rowdy litter the first time.

Venom was quick in arriving, and he returned her affection with ease. “Hello Venom,” he said, voice soft and warm, expression one of quiet delight. He loved these little ones, he loved being a father. He loved to be surrounded by his children. He almost fought Zee for the honour of cuddling with them, and had to be pushed out of the den to content with his duties as Alpha.
