Firefly Lake

Before you enter, you may bring 3 things with you. These may include companions, accessories, and the like. Please list them at the start of your thread. There is great risk involved to all that you bring along as well as your chosen character, though you may find there will also be equally great benefit.

Any rewards gained in your adventure will be account bound and therefore not tradeable unless simply gems. A handful of the benefits will be for the character you bring only.

Your choice in character, companion, and accessory will possibly impact your story. Different attributes and aspects of your character, companion, and accessory will provide risks or benefits depending on the various encounters, and where one wolf would fail a situation another wolf might pass it with ease.

As the story progresses, encounters will become riskier though you can choose to abandon the adventure at any time. If you choose to remain, you do so understanding the risks!



Coming to this area, the sun rests low in the horizon and many fireflies are just starting to light the sky in its stead. There is nothing inherently spooky about these scenes, however the complete lack of the usual chittering of birds and rummaging of creatures puts even the most steadfast of visitors on edge. The water calls to you, reflecting the last luminescent rays of the golden sun as it sinks into the horizon. It seems as if every step is blocked off by a wall of fireflies which seem unpassable.

Lyric wished for some adventure, some after locking himself within Abaven lands for some time since he was back. The only exception was the trip to the Hot springs but that was just one trip the whole time he has been in Abaven, and thus he wanted to change that. And like that he allowed his heart to be the one to guide him through the unknown lands, his eyes were collected and his walk neutral, leaving no trace of being in rush or fear. And his little trip brought him to a lake where all around the place clouds of fireflies flew with grace. And at first, he considered it to be beautiful but the silence wasn't at all. But there he felt thirsty and wished to go through the clouds aiming to approach the lake. oc- He is attempting to go throug "Speech"

Firefly Lake

From this point on, you can exit at any point, even if the option is not listed! If leaving is listed as a choice, then you may only ATTEMPT to exit!

You push with all your might, but the fireflies hold fast. As you fling yourself through, they part, sending you tumbling towards the waters. You go to catch yourself, spraining your front left leg! As you finally make your way through the mass of fireflies and towards the water, you see a small bridge of strange, floating crystals leading through the middle of the lake to a… is that a downwards staircase into the lake? Those stones look a little slippery.

Lyric kept pushing feeling how more and more fireflies surrounded his body, feeling it hard to move forward. And in a point, as he pushed even harder he fell down ahead, and he there felt pain in his front leg, feeling it a bit sore. It was now sprained and even though it didnt hurt too much he still limped just a bit. But his thirst pushed him forward until he found a suspicious bridge of weird stones. He felt curious but he didn't trust the bridge and decided to go swim. Falling prey of curiosity. He swam slowly without rush so his leg didnt got any more pain. OC- He will go ahead and swim "Speech"

Firefly Lake

You decide the best option is to swim! The water is cool and inviting. As you swim about, you notice something sparkly in the water. Diving down, you pull up a small bag of gems! You'll have time to count that later! the rest of the swim is easy and you make it across safely.

Down the Rabbit(?) Hole

You step down the finely chiseled stairs which seem to be made of thin sheets of crystal, showing the water below as fish swim beneath your very paws. As you go lower, the fish swim beside, then above you until you are slowly immersed into a dark, watery chamber. When you come off the stairs, you find you are standing on solid ground, though far above you can still see the surface of the water. Light from above shimmers and refracts into tiny rainbows across the ground. The only place to go now is deeper into the cavern which narrows and darkens. The cavern grows quite steep and your eyes have not fully adjusted to the darkness. One should be careful as they descend into the depths.

He swam further feeling the cool water moving through his dark hairs, his head poking out of the waters. And at the distance, he saw something shining, glowing beneath him. Slowly he dove in and he pulled up a back with gems. Oh well he would carry it but for using it later. And soon he found himself before a type of stairs that went down into a cave. Slowly he stood up and slowly and being especially careful with where he was stepping into, yes this was exciting but he still wanted to have common sense and make sure he was being responsible for his own actions. oc- Slow and steady wins the race "Speech"

Down the Rabbit(?) Hole

You slowly descend down into the depths of the cave. As you walk, you feel a small notch in the wall. And another. And another! In each, sets a tiny gem. By the end of the tunnel, you have a nice handful of gems! You'll have to count them later!

Now, the cavern levels out, but is still tricky to navigate. You’re sure you hear shuffling ahead, but can't see anything to match the noise. What do you do? This is open ended! Respond as your character would, but only to the point to where you ATTEMPT something! No cheating!

Lyric kept descending being extremely careful with where he was stepping into. He was larger than others and thus he had less agility but well along as he was mindful he didnt saw a disadvantage. And thus he kept going with his eyes of blue focused in any details he could gather. And like that he heard something coming from within the cave and with eyes narrowed and taking bravery he attempted to approach. "Hello?" He called but keeping his voice moderate. The curiosity was winning any fear, this seemed to be a once life experience and because of that he couldn't help but keep going. "Speech"

Down the Rabbit(?) Hole

You call out to the creature ahead. You smell nothing, but eventually come upon the dim glow of a group of fireflies struggling to put on a cloth which would make them appear as if they are a rat. The cloth is pulled this way, then that way, but the uneven buzzing of the creatures beneath it make it hard to settle evenly.

What do you do?

Lyric called but no response was given and for that he approached, padding inside with a confident walk. He felt brave today, like some other days he took things with a chill, safe. But well he was curious to see where he was going to come up with if he continued his little adventure. And as he went further he spotted a moving piece of cloth. At first, it looked like a rat as the limited illumination made it look as such. But as he decided to try attempt lifting it, he saw more fireflies, but it was curious as he didn't know why they were here at all. "Speech"

Down the Rabbit(?) Hole

You watch the creatures curiously as they fumble and falter to adjust their costume. Their movement gets more erratic ad they try to hide under the cloth, but then in one fell swoop, they disband as if embarrassed by their failure. You are left to ponder such oddities as their light fades into the darkness.

Sp̶͙̆͗̚̕ooky Cavȩ̴̧̩̖̱͔̈͑̾̅͂̊͝ͅ

The main cavern opens up to a large area full of stalagmites and stalactites. Your eyes adjust (if you have fireflies, their light dies out) allowing you to see just how vast this underground expanse is. Water trickles through the center of the cavern running from the wall near you and creating a small river cutting through the room all the way to the end. It seems clean, but there is no telling what lurks in the depths.

Lyric let free the bugs who at first didnt go out as fast as he expected them to, but eventually, they flew off leaving the male clueless though he didnt show that on his face. Keeping those blue eyes emotionless. He decided to keep walking seeing the cavern now bigger with stalagmites on the roof. How in the world did he found this? Did this existed here all this time? But either way, he decided to be careful around the stalagmites, being careful. There as he kept going, water was ahead but he decided not to sip. Keeping with his walk.

Sp̶͙̆͗̚̕ooky Cavȩ̴̧̩̖̱͔̈͑̾̅͂̊͝ͅ

You know that water in a cave is most suspicious and decide not to take a drink. Onwards, you take to climbing around the stalagmites. Some areas narrow so much, you're forced to pull back and try another route. You eventually clear your way into the next room, feeling rather accomplished and much more skilled than before!

Crȩ̸̱̞̈́͗̆̾̀̑̈̇vice S̵̡̥͉͌͗̿͋̾̓̀̍h̴̢̆͛̉͗̏̎̇́uffle

You cross into the next room and the passages just keep getting smaller and smaller! Finally, the passage forks into one that is very small, but stable-looking. The other is large and spacious but appears to be much more treacherous.

Lyric kept gong, feeling more and more confident as he went through. He didnt feel any reason to be afraid, this was actually making him feel accomplished. Making him feel more capable that he thought he was, more than for the danger this was helping him being more secure of who he was and what he could do.

He kept going noticing the trail becoming thinner until he found himself before a forked way. One was thin but seemed stable and the other way bigger seemed more dangerous. And for mere common sense, he went through the Thinier way. Hopping to keep finding anything fun.

Crȩ̸̱̞̈́͗̆̾̀̑̈̇vice S̵̡̥͉͌͗̿͋̾̓̀̍h̴̢̆͛̉͗̏̎̇́uffle

You pinch, wriggle, and still get stuck just at the end of the tunnel. As you fight, you begin to lose hope, but at the end of the tunnel there’s a ring-tailed lemur who helps to pull you free. They offer to join you on your journey.

Ç̸̭̩̻͔͖̱̥̉̚ŕ̶̨̛͙͍͓̲̣͕̎̃̾̎̄̑̐̏̔͆͝͠ȳ̸̡̼͉̙̻̘͚͕̘̿̌stall̴̞̪̀͋̎̏̂̄̔́̈́̀̆͐̕͝ĩ̷̛͎̦͉̼̤͇̏͠në̸̻̗̣̏ D̴͔̲̲̫̭̤̲͌̑̅͗̔̐̇̒̾͐͌͝͝epths

The tunnel leads you into a vast room where pinholes of light shine down from the ceiling and down onto a sea of sharp but enchanting crystals below. The place is as breathtaking as it is lethal. You feel as though if you don’t turn back now, you will not be able to leave the tunnel the same as you came. You take a deep breath and decide to descend the glittering slopes. At your feet, there are surprisingly soft mosses with many microflora sprouting up between the rugged crystals and fireflies loom lazily in the air. Somewhere in the distance, a crystal from the ceiling falls like a dagger into the ground below. You do not see where it lands, but it shatters with enough ferocity to be felt in your paws.

How do you navigate this risky wonderland?

He walked and walked until he found himself stuck at the end, he struggled and struggled to get free but nothing worked. What could he do? But before he could think about anything a Lemur came to his rescue helping him get free. And like that he was back to his feet, the primate offered him his company to which he welcomed kindly. And like that she now had a companion on this journey.

The pair now resumed with the travels, finding themselves before a field of crystals, sharp but a breathtaking view. But he didnt feel happy especially charmed, this could be dangerous. After some thinking he and the Lemur descended carefully, hoping not to fall. As he walked, he found fireflies and mosses. Then a trembling sound took him by surprise and like that he stopped before thinking about what to do. He decided to run away from the craking sound.
