What a beautiful place!

The luminescent glow of the mangrove at night was a simply stunning place to be and Nebula couldn't get enough of it. Although the ground was soft and unpleasant on her delicate paws, the view was plenty good enough to ignore it. Besides, she wasn't back home anymore with her mother and goody four-paws sister to tell her how to do things the right way, like a lady and all that. Nebula was plenty lady-like, thank you very much!

With a short huff from her thoughts, Nebula was back to enjoying the scenery around her. Despite the ever present scent of pack wolves and packs nearby, Nebula knew very well that she was not trespassing. If there was anything her parents taught her. it was to be ever mindful of other packs territories and to never get too close to the borders! They didn't take too kindly to strays that loitered on their borders, so he hardly expected anything less from the packs in this new land.

Finding a lovely tree to sit beneath, Nebula decided to take a short rest and enjoy the mangrove from a stationary point of view. A light smile graced her lips as the galaxy pelted wolf relaxed and gazed about the gorgeous foliage.

For such a massive wolf Indigo traveled quietly through the forest. He had a special connection with the plants and flora. Indigo navigated the woods like he’d been born here, but he didn’t move with any sort of haste. The boy had nowhere to be. His responsibilities were minimal and his expectations lower. The path he traveled was foggy and his purpose had become blurred.

He remembered this place from when they’d trained, he’d sparred with Asla here. His heart broke again as the pleasant memory wandered into his head. He was really trying to take his aunt’s advice and get out and about. Most of his time was spent with Rue, the little deer like girl. They’d become fast friends and she helped chase the sad days away. Sometimes he felt like he was too much for her, like tonight. The evening was clear and warm. Rather pleasant had Indys mind been on his surroundings more than his problems.

Indigo ducked beneath a full branch of leaves into a small moonlit clearing and his bright blue gaze found a sight that made him give pause. ”Who are you?” He said only loud enough to make it across the space between them before he could even think. He would have asked it all the same but he would have been more polite about it. ”Sorry, uh.. I’m Indigo.”

Although she was content in spending her night alone within the beauty of the mangrove, she wouldn't shy away from some company. Especially handsome company.

At first, the young man's presence hadn't been noticed, but as he spoke so suddenly her head turned in slightly shock at the bluntness of the words. Her eyes scanned over him, taking in every bit of him similarly hued pelt, thick collar, and matching eyes. Never before had she seen someone so similar to her, but masculine. A small smirk played on her lips as she stood, turning her body ever to slightly to flash her furs and young, but feminine figure. They couldn't be that far apart in age based on looks alone.

Soon, a sheepish apology and introduction came from him but her smirk never waned. "Pleasure to meet you, Handsome. I'm Nebula." She purred, flicking her tail as she sauntered towards him. "Tell me, are you from around here?"

He didn’t have any trouble in gaining her attention, and very quickly bright blue eyes fell on him. Indigo was struck by her, the way she moved and looked him over. He blinked back his own surprise, he knew of other wolves that were colored like him, but this she wolf was more similar in appearance than his own siblings. That similarity didn’t seem to go unnoticed by her as her eyes wouldn’t leave him as much as he couldn’t take his eyes off of her.

She was quick to answer him, handsome? ”Ah, no, Indi-go.” His voice broke and a blush formed under his bright purple fur. Suddenly he was very hot. ”Thepleasureismine.” he breathed shortly as she moved closer. She was just as tall as he was and Indigo found himself infatuated as much as he was impressed. ”I am.” He could answer her but could he collect his thoughts enough to explain further? ”I um, a little north of here. I don’t know this place as well.” The boy managed.

It was obvious how flustered the young man was and she ate it up. She would have never acted like this back in her kingdom, but here? Well, why not? She could have anything she wanted back home, but out in the wild, well she'd have to earn what she wanted or simply take it. She had every intention on taking whatever she could.

She giggled as he corrected her, and she offered a quick wink as he stumbled over his words and sped through the next. He answered her question and she couldn't have been much more thankful. She'd picked up on the scent of many other wolves, all having different pack scents, but knowing that he was from one of the packs around here and not a loner made it a bit better. Maybe he'd bring her home with him? The thought excited her, but she wondered where he came from. What would they think of a runaway heir?

At his admittance of not knowing the place well, Nebula giggled again and ran her body against the length of his before turning around and leaning into him and tilting her head up slightly as she spoke. Not that he was much taller, anyway. "Well we can explore it together then, what do you say?"

"Speech!"

Indigo didn’t have a lot of experience with the weird fluttering feelings she was causing in him, and he wasn’t sure he wanted to get comfortable with them. He wasn’t often stunned, but something about the way she moved and touched him caused a misfire. He couldn’t keep his eyes off her, and couldn’t move against her sudden closeness. She fried his brain and he was less and less certain he disliked it.

Indy was obviously captivated, not even his siblings could boast a coat so similar to his own. She was very nearly the same height as him too. There weren’t many she wolves he’d met who could say that. She impressed him. And she wanted to spend more time with him. ”Oh uh.” He had no prior engagements, and getting his mind off his personal disturbances seemed easy with how well she made his mind go blank. ”Yes.” He nearly squeaked as he spoke so eloquently. Still unable to take his eyes off her.
