Lynvarr worked his way down from the waterfall peak of the northern regions. The battlefield was conveniently located to the south of him so he figured he might as well utilize the location to do some sparring. It had been awhile since he'd sparred another wolf. Well, he hoped he'd get a wolf but he supposed he'd take anything that had enough intelligence to understand language. He was done fighting mindless large predators that wanted to eat him alive. Finding a good spot to start a spar he tipped back his head and howled for an opponent. While he waited he stretched and rolled his shoulders, seeking to get limbered up for the fight ahead. He hoped it would be a good one and that he wouldn't embarrass himself too much but he had to start somewhere.

Life's just a game

It had been a few days since Sirius had released him from the armada. Adra was left wondering what to do next, he vowed never to let anyone know his real name unless they were someone special to him. However Borias seemed to have run its course so a new alias with a new life was mulling over in his head. Perhaps he should go by his middle name? Toriak seemed strong enough. He threw the thought as he stepped onto the battlefield. Borias it would be for now but he felt the need to shed the name despite the disdain for using his birth given one. The thoughts went away when he heard and saw a caller. It was time that he did some training anyway. The previous slave master needed to train, get better, he needed power in order to create a band or a pack that ashen and the armada would be proud of.

Approaching the stranger he gave a dip of his head. "Greetings." he said no more though. Not wanting to make civil chat now was a chance to take out his anger and frustration, his grief. Borias settled in his defenses not knowing if he wanted to let the opponent move first or not. His ears pulling back as he showed his fangs. Borias waited, what he did lack was experience with fighting other wolves who stood a chance now was the time to put his skills to the test.

Lynvarr focused his mind on the fight ahead and was soon greeted by an opponent. A large male, about the same age as himself gave a swift greeting and then set his defenses, ready to fight. Lyn could appreciate a man that got right down to business. He quickly set his own defenses, making sure to pin his ears and tuck his tail. He eyed the other man for one moment then charged forward. He attempted to shift quickly to his right with as little notice as possible, jaws flung wide as his fangs sought to latch onto the man's left knee. He hoped to get a grip and use his forward momentum to pull the leg out from under the other man. At the same time he threw his left shoulder forward seeking to slam it into the other man's gut to cause as much bruising and nausea as possible. All the while he focused on keeping his defenses set, especially his tail as his butt would be left vulnerable to his opponent.

Life's just a game

Dealing with a smaller opponent was going to be difficult. Borias didn't have much experience sparring but he had fought predators and flashbacks from the fight to the death with his father occured to him. With his knee's slightly bent, his tail acting as a rudder the male's eyes narrowed to slits keeping a keen eye on the smaller male's movements. Borias was never going to underestimate a wolf and as Lynvarr charged forward Borias was ready. His opponent was quick to aim to go underneath the male. Borias knee's bent left his left knee exposed however his toes spreading into the terrain he attempted to make a quick side step to his right. Lynvarr's teeth latched onto the left side of his back limb causing the soft tissue to tear from the thiness with only mild bleeding. Then his opponent shoulder aimed to push into his gut Borias' own stomach muscles tried to tighten. The soft underbelly was pushed uncomfortably into but not enough to throw him off as his tail helped to keep his balance.

Borias suddenly sprang into action, quickly he made an attempt to raise his back left leg and aim to kick it in Lynvarr's face in hopes of hitting his snout or anything else sensitive. This did put him at an advantage, shifting his weight to his other three limbs as he opened his jaws and attempted to bite for Lynvarr's back end. The opponents tucked tail would make it hard to make a hold but Borias upper jaw aimed for the right side of Lynvarr's back end where the base of his tail attached to his body his lower jaw towards the left.

Lynvarr's fangs nicked the other man's thigh as his opponent shifted away from him. As such his shoulder connected without the force he desired. Still, Lynvarr pushed forward as he originally planned, this time twisting his upper body in sharply as he attempted to move his hind quarters back behind him. His opponent kicked out at him but as his head was up near the man's thigh the kick missed his face and instead struck his lower chest. It would likely leave some bruising but there wasn't enough force in the one leg to push his entire bulk back. Fangs nicked the top of his tail, breaking skin as he rotated his hind end to try and bring himself perpendicular to his opponent. Kicking off sharply he aimed to bring his body low, head rotating to the side as he attempted to grab his opponent's leg just above the hock in a solid grip.

It was like trying to get rid of a rat. The hans man understood why weasley small wolves had an advantage now. This was a thrill if anything though. His leg was left vulnerable Borias as he attempted to slam it down into the dirt spreading his toes in order to keep his balance. One wrong move could make his opponent easily topple him and Borias was determined to stay standing. His menuever however made it easier for Lynvarr to grab onto his target. The teeth grabbed just above his hock - making Borias wince as he growled in pain. The flesh there was thin, making it bleed and he knew he would possibly be limping for a few days after this.

It was not over though, with his opponent as low as he was Borias wanted to attempt to take advantage. Trying to lift his left front limb he wanted to aim at standing directly above Lynvarr's hind end. Borias' idea was to cage his opponent underneath him as he did Borias' jaws opened once more. Attempting to bite down on the smaller opponents left hind limb where the muscle was on the side of his body. Borias didn't know how this would play out, but he was trying his best.
