Other: Often work under his new armor, this cloak has been sewn from a sturdy cloth out of the stash Aurielle dragged home one autumn in a trunk. Its base color is black, but there is a subtle forest green sheen, noticeable but not in your face.

The cloak stops just past the base of his tail, but doesn’t cover it, instead draping at either side of his hips/tail like a horse’s quarter-sheet under a saddle. The drape falls about six inches above his hocks. The hood drapes nobly along the slope of his shoulders when not in use, and when up, the fabric is stiffened with wax to keep it out of his eyes and keep his field of view unhindered for the most part.

For the fabric it is, it flows nicely around his back legs as he moves, and doesn’t get tangled in his legs. When worn, a third leather strap loops under his belly just before the end of his rib cage and through two slits that sit just under the edge of the armor, essentially belting the cloak and the armor into place.
