Dunkan went back to the arena wishing to find some new time to perhaps train more in the arts of combat. This time he didn't came with his armor yet. He wanted to fight without it one last time as he was sure he would wear it almost all the time. His companion Urasa stood by his side as both stood there before Dunkan gave a howl to call for whoever was in the mood to spar today. His legs widened just a bit as his head rose proudly with those blue eyes cold as always. And like that he would wait for an opponent.

Kichi was excited about the new wolves he was getting to meet. Having not lived in a pack but only with one and then eventually two guardians left a lot of things a mystery. Lurid and Alastor for a long time what the majority of wolves were like. He had seen a couple of wolves for a few minutes beside them but it was so few and so short a time that Kichi still felt a need to know.
The six-month-old pup was excited Al had agreed to take him from the forest to explore other areas. Now they had come to the battlefield and when Kichi heard Duncan’s howl it had been a quick glance to Alastor for his ok before charging off. Al wouldn’t be far away if something went wrong.
The first time he had met someone here it had been another puppy but not this time. As Kichi caught sight of the contender he observed him curiously. Kichi’s soft grey coat spotted white along both shoulders, a thin streak on his chest, a bit on his muzzle, ear tips, and eyebrows. The newest feature was a wound that was still healing and would leave a nasty scar. The injure started a bit below one eye and curved up around stopping short a few inches of his ear. The mark was a good reminder of foolish actions could mean death.
He moved up to Duncan, tail wagging happy and friendly, “Hi, I’m Kichi.” Apparently the young warrior saw no problem in this setup. He grinned at the larger wolf, “No need to hold back because I’m young, I certainly won’t be.” What the boy lacked in experience he made up for in overconfidence.

Kichi wore smug confidence on his features, with his legs braced for balance. The boys ears were pulled back tight and a desire for blood in his gaze. The boys tail was straight out, aligned for balance and tight turns instead of protecting down low. Kichi lacked Dunkans experience, he lacked the build he would have as an adult but he certainly had the drive to fight.
Kichi lowered himself as the wolf charged, not to stay low but bunching up his muscles and striding in when it only took 2 steps for the pair of wolves to clash. He could already taste the victory of when he would get that first bite in. It would be wonderful to take down an adult wolf at this age.
Kichi was use to sparring with dire wolf parents and had learned to aim for lower attacks. He back end stumbled but he was still in range to sink his teeth into Dunkan’s front leg. The idea would of included hopping away but his back end had to take a half second to regain balance so he simply bit down harder hoping the wolf would choose to pull away from the bite instead of coming in for a second attack straight away.

Dunkan went with his first attack of getting the pup out of balance, and it worked but Dunkan wasn't the type of wolf to feel victor if the fight just started, he never took anything won until the very end of a fight or whatever else he was up to and here and now he would not underestimate this pup nor anyone. And as the kid sank his fangs on his leg he felt the pain but it wasn't going to stop him and as stubborn as he could be instead of stepping back he used his free paw to try pinning down the pup, taking advantage of Kich's state and then he attempted to bite firmly into the pup's scruff. All he was doing was using his heavier and larger size to overpower the smaller pup. With two attacks coming Kichi had no choice but to let go of the leg. A common attack he’d grown use to was being pinned. He jumped away from the paw, gaining distance. It wasn’t a graceful leap as he had been recovering his balance when it happened but, sometimes habitual reaction could save one’s rump. It had been close, the pup’s skin along his neck had felt pinched and thus only a hair’s breath from being trapped.
The boy didn’t waste any time in running back in the fray, aiming to go straight at Duncan, he made a feint leap up as if he would aim for the top of Duncan’s throat but instead sliding in low to try and get the underside of his throat instead.

His attack almost caught its target with his paw as the smaller wolf dodged his pin, and his jaws did also missed with only some piercing on the pup's skin. Failure in shorter words. But Dunkan wasn't to give up even when he failed more than once. There the pup went for his throat he quickly attempted to lower his head and neck with his jaws winkled ready to bite. As Kichi aimed for his lower throat Dunkan would try to move to his left so instead of his throat, the pup's target could be his shoulder instead. Simultaneously he would attempt to bite on the pup's scruff meanwhile he would aim to put his left front paw around the boy's shoulder hopping his weight would help to restrain their movement. Kichi felt his teeth find substance but it only took a breath to realize it wasn’t where he’d aimed. The shoulder wouldn’t offer the victory a neck would have. Things got quickly worse when Dunkan got his teeth into Kichi’s scruff. The older wolf had experience and weight on his side so the moment he snagged onto him the stormcloud-colored pup realized this could be trouble.
Kichi let go of the shoulder to turn his head, attempting to stand up on his hind feet slightly to take some of the tautness off his neck where Dunkan had his scruff. At the same time he attempted to bite the older male on his muzzle. One pain wildly in an attempt to keep Dunkan’s own paw away from his shoulder and his other paw attempted to slash out near Dunkan’s eyes, however, the strikes would also be wild and where they hit more by luck than skill.
