Scavenging had seemed to be harder for Viper now though not beause she had spent a short while as a prisoner in a pit. The experience had emotionally taken a toll on her and she had no clue how to handle the feelings inside of her. She wanted nothing more than for things to go back to the way they were before and that seemed impossible now.
She had stayed closer to the northern lands for no particular reason. It was getting colder out but these were the lands she knew the most after her time in Ruina. She avoided Fireside like a plague and hadn’t made her way out east or south since leaving. A hidden anxiety in her that she would not ever admit. Not that she was really scared, but she had grown tired of her life stuck inside a cage. It wasn’t the first time after all.
Her dark body trekked through the wash, a little uneven from her recent encounter with a bear. But she showed little sign of discouragement and she went around the gleaming stones in search for nothing particular. She really just needed something to fill her days now, as she had felt before searching for Jupiter and running through Fireside. She felt the life of a loner was starting to get boring and lonely, but it was the only life she knew and would accept anyway.

He was out tracking down a bobcat that had crossed his path earlier. Ignis had come close to bringing it down in one go, but the cat had escaped him. He cursed under his breath at his lack of a more methodical approach. And he really wanted to add it's fangs and claws to the decor on the skull helmet he wore. While the bobcat was already injured and bleeding heavily from his assault, he knew it wouldn't make it very far. He trotted along without a care in the world, the crimson beast taking delight in the fact that his prey was hurting. Normally, he was more empathetic and would try to put a suffering creature out of their misery as soon as possible. but not this time. He could care less this time. The trail led him down towards the wash, the scent of the bobcat growing stronger, and as he made his way to the top of the rise and looked down, he spotted the bobcat lying on the ground writhing in pain. He sniffed once before casually heading down to it. Crimson gaze watched as it struggled to get away from him, but all he did was sneer at it in it's last moments. He lunged, teeth grasping its neck before he twisted and broke it. The bobcat fell limp in his jaws, and Ignis promptly let it go. He motioned for his companions to come and start working on it, but when he was about to join in to help, he spotted someone unfamiliar nearby. He stood tall and still as he watched her. The bobcats blood seeping into his fur to blend with the rest of him. Who was she? |
Ignis is unpredictable and may become violent with little or no provocation due to his "demon"
*Ignis' tail is docked, and his left ear has been torn away and now resembles a Battle crop style.

Viper had wandered through the wash almost warily, though maybe it was to pick up any scents of wolves in the territory or prey she could try to take down herself. The sound of the bobcat suffering was unfamiliar to her, but she was ever more interested in the injured creature to see if she could find a meal in it.
It took her a while to pick up the scent of the creature as she tiptoed through the rocky terrain. But by the time she would pick up the scent it was pretty near by. And before she could make eye contact with the suffering animal it would instantly go silent. She would turn a corner with the raise of her nose, not realizing that she was already spotted by the predator. Her nose slowly twitching as her head turned toward the giant red male, her expression not changing into an inviting one though not necessarily uninviting either. She’d look down to eye the kill, glance back at the male, and then move a step forwarder in a pointer position as she looked back down at the kill and sniffed forward as if she was interested in taking it. She was pretty skinny only while she tried to pull her weight back on her own after being in Fireside, but she was no where near emaciated. She showed little fear toward the giant wolf, which was mostly shown in the way she was interested in stealing his meal.
