It wasn't often that he found himself this far north. The boys paws felt the need to wander though. To get one last trip in before winter became too bad. His idea for a walkabout could prove to be a bad one. There was a wall ahead; a portion crumbled to allow access to the other side. He intended to cross that wall, but there, in his path was a hulking white bear. It had just managed to fell an elk and was releasing low growling sounds with each breath. Funnily enough, Chimera wasn't even looking for a fight today. He just wanted to go over the wall. When the bear rushed him though, it seemed that there was no choice. Chi waited until the last minute before juking around the white bear. The wolf, much quicker than the bear, leaped upon its back, sinking his teeth in just behind the skull. The bear growled and thrashed and Chimera did his best to keep his seat. "Snarl"

After the encounter with that bear between she and her cousin Tsunami, she has been checking the outside world looking for more. She was finding such fights with other creatures the best training for fighting. She always wanted to be as good as her father, and so far this was all she could do to keep her skills up. She made her way to the wall, a structure she always found impressive as she didn't think a wolf would have made it. Calmly she walked by the length of it before her ears switched to hear a commotion not too far away. Narrowing her eyes she rushed the way the noise came from and as she did she found a back and white wolf fighting a polar bear. Well perhaps she could catch part of the fight? Like that she darted herself forward and as the male wolf went for the bear's neck, her own teet aimed for the bear's left back leg, by the joint. "Speech"

A second wolf jumped into the battle. A wolf that he didn't know, of course. He didn't know anyone up this way. The woman biting the bears heel sent the giant beast curling to the side quickly to inspect the new pain. The action sent Chimera flying off of its back. Thankfully he landed on his paws. The momentum sent him sliding a bit, but he was able to take a moment to regain his composure thanks to the woman still biting the bear.

It didn't seem that the bear was quite ready to give up, so Chimera would try to give the beast a reason to leave. Since the ursine was curled around to focus on the one attacking its heal, the black and white dire boy launched himself at the side of the bears face, teeth raking and sinking into flesh over its eye and cheek. There was a lot of lose skin so he probably didn't do too much damage, but he did enough that the bear snarled in pain and began thrashing its head.
